The room was old, but the bathroom was big. The breakfast is nice. There is no insonorisation so you hear everything in the hotel and the ventilation is bad the smell of food was very strong in the room. The spa is nice but there were kids jumping in the spa ? Also it was closed at 8pm? The staff don’t speak english at all.

The first room we got had no heating or hot water so next day we got a new room which was better. Both rooms clean and tidy but small maintenance problems like no curtains and uneven floor. However comfortable bed. Restaurant is okay food generally good, breakfast buffet not very large but enough options to give you a good start

A really friendly hotel in a great location for exploring the beauty of the Rhodope mountains. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and we were able to use the spa area and get a full meal even though we arrived after 8pm. Breakfast was also varied and good, and included mekitsi! I'd definitely go back if I was in the area again. Thank you for a great stay!

Guesthouse Kris is an amazing place on top of a hill from which you can see the whole town. And also we were in the apartment with the biggest terrace which is very convenient. Very friendly staff. Always smiling. The view is beautiful and there is a big yard with grass and it's child-friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

As a person who has been working in the hotel sector for many years with the top hotels around the world I could say many things but for that price I will keep it for myself. The only thing I have to say is that you ONLY have to pay cash and you CANNOT pay by card. In general it's alright.

Careful! The place is abandoned, at least in winter time (January) Still got the best architecture in the town though

Very well maintained surrounding, delicious breakfast with local specialties. My room was big and clean. The SPA area (3 pools and a whirlpool) sufficient. A really unexpected nice hotel in this small village.

The hosts are very polite and hospitable. The food is great, prices too. The pool is small and needs renovation but is nice and indoor for bad weather.

I visited this hotel on a halfboard basis as part of a cycling tour operated by Penguin Travel. Unfortunately we arrived late to the hotel so I didn't have time to experience the spa facilities. Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable. Good place to relax and enjoy your time off. Usually crowded, but there is room for everyone. The one big disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in that facility.
