What a nice surprise 😀. Extremely nice place along the lake "in the middle of nowhere"! Great cabins (could be a little bit upgraded), nice restaurants with good food and very nice people working. If you want to relax for a few days, run away from the daily system.... this is the perfect place! One important thing to know: the last 4.5km are dirt road, and not in the best shape. Amazing place! We fell in love with it at first sight. We went two years in a row, but unfortunately they put up the prices drastically. There is a 6km bicycle or hiking route around the dam. Another hiking trail towards a nearby tiny dam too.

The accommodation was quite good. The restaurant is a total disaster, both service wise and food quality wise. A bit overpriced for the offering, yet a nice location and surroundings.

Very nice and calm place perfect for family holiday or a group holiday with friends. It is placed in the forest and very near to Shiroka polyana. There is a restaurant and a lot of houses for guests.

Clean and nice with wonderful view in a wonderful place. The breakfast could be better and needs a bit better indoor maintenance.

The hotel is relatively new, clean, well maintained. Staff extremely friendly. The cuisine in the restaurant, tasty and well prepared. Our room had a view of Dospat Dam. We really liked it, we would do it again for sure.

The hotel itself is lovely with beautiful rooms and a unique location. The hygiene in the rooms could be improved. For 4 nights they did not change our bed linen. The breakfast is good, but the all-you-can-eat food is of very low quality and at very high prices. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall it is a wonderful place, peaceful and with a unique design and privacy.

Very kind and smiling hosts. The food is simply wonderful. The walk to Eagle's Eye was great and the torrential rain that poured on the way back made the adventure even more extreme.

Incredibly cozy atmosphere and hospitable hosts. Pets are welcome. The food, oh the food is incredibly delicious, homemade from breakfast to dinner. And not only that, the desserts are incredibly delicious. The surprises did not stop there, the hosts offer a jeep ride to the most beautiful corners of the Rhodope Mountains.

One of the greatest places I have ever visited! The most hospitable hosts, uniquely delicious homemade food, great views, terribly clean and maintained! The homemade mekis were at the highest level, the homemade jam and the homemade raspberry juice too! The room was old, but the bathroom was big. The breakfast is nice. There is no insonorisation so you hear everything in the hotel and the ventilation is bad the smell of food was very strong in the room. The spa is nice but there were kids jumping in the spa ? Also it was closed at 8pm? The staff don’t speak english at all.

The first room we got had no heating or hot water so next day we got a new room which was better. Both rooms clean and tidy but small maintenance problems like no curtains and uneven floor. However comfortable bed. Restaurant is okay food generally good, breakfast buffet not very large but enough options to give you a good start

A really friendly hotel in a great location for exploring the beauty of the Rhodope mountains. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and we were able to use the spa area and get a full meal even though we arrived after 8pm. Very nice place, we only tried the restaurant today. Anything we ordered was fresh and tasty, service was very nice, the entire atmosphere is relaxing. Next time we will also try the hotel.

We were at Arkan Han just last weekend and had the most wonderful time. The hotel is super cozy, the view is showing the best out of Rodopi mountains, the hosts are super welcoming and warm. The vibe is very traditional but new age as well. Food is delicious and typical for the region. Cannot wait to go back again !

As a person who has been working in the hotel sector for many years with the top hotels around the world I could say many things but for that price I will keep it for myself. The only thing I have to say is that you ONLY have to pay cash and you CANNOT pay by card. In general it's alright.

I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to. It has also some Michelin accreditations. The service and the facilities in the hotel are the same level as the top 5 stars hotels in the Alps.

Overall the hotel is nice, we liked the buffet food, the spa is big and has lots of amenities, the room was big and spacious. Excellent service, good location. The spa is very good. The hotel is old but was very clean. We had a one-room appartment. The rooms were big, only the sofa wasn't very comfortable. Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.
