We visited the bar to have a coffee........We waited a long time for our order to be taken and we got annoyed by the fact that many people after us sat down at another table and were served before us......otherwise the place is nice and the coffee is good!!!

Mountain Lake Hotel

Beautiful, quiet location, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds- we had a 2 bed apartment with kitchen facilities and a sitting room with a balcony. Good quality toiletries were provided also a good selection of teas, coffee and soft drinks free of charge. Breakfast was excellent and dinner reasonably priced.

This is an oasis in the Forrest! The rooms are huge, so comfortable and peaceful. The staff are very helpful and speak English well, and the surroundings are just stunning.

A great place worth visiting and personally I don't regret it one bit! The location itself is ideal, if you are looking for peace, great nature and a good starting point for mountain walks. The service from the staff was polite, always accurate and very correct. The spa part was on a level, I am extremely satisfied - a clean pool with enough warm and pleasant water, enough options for a steam bath...

Great place, nice view, clean and new rooms. Receptionist really helpful and speaks English as well. Restaurant has a good variety of options. Within 10 minutes of car from multiple attractions.

The best hotel I've ever been anywhere!!! The rooms are spacious and more than luxurious. TVs support paid programs like youtube,prime,netflix and so on. The spa is well arranged. The hotel is located in a peaceful environment among forests and has a small complex as well as a children's corner. The restaurant is open until 24 o'clock. Hardly recommend.

Very friendly personnel and great location. The facilities are a bit worse for the wear, though. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

Petia Nikolova is an amazing host. The room was very nice and the food excellent. Nothing but praise!! Very recommendable.

The hotel was amazing! It was super clean, the food was incredible and they have a lovely steam room and sauna for hotel guests. It’s conveniently located close to Smolyan and you can get to a lot of the nearby sights within 15-20 min. The hotel service was excellent! Special shout out to our lovely host Petya! We would highly recommend this place :)

Amazing hotel! Low prices, pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is cozy and nice. There's a fireplace and the tables an chairs are very comfy. The food is incredibly delicious. The ski tracks are just 5 mins away from the nearest lift. Strongly recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay here, great location and a very good studio with soft furnishing, clean. There is nothing more to wish.

Excellent hotel, spacious and clean rooms. There's a place right outside serving good food and heaps of taxis also right in front of the hotel (well, a bit to the left when exiting)...

Good hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean. The location is great. You can have complimentary coffee in the lobby which was very nice! However the water pipes were very noisy in our room. On the terrace there were three A/Cs, thankfully nobody was using them, otherwise we would not get much sleep. The parking lot in front of the hotel has a very weird entrance. Overall I'd recommend...

Nice hotel, near to the center you can find everything

Good place for one night. Bed is corrupted and noisy, pillows are not usable, in bathroom bathtub was broken, shower broken too, wall are thin and you'll hear all neighbors. There's no such breakfast... Restaurants near are good and this is only thing that saves good impression about Smolyan.

Really nice place, great location and service. The lady on the reception desk is nice, gave us good advices for places to visit.

Clean rooms, lovely food and nice location.

That is a small family hotel next to a lake and below a large rock formation. Other landmarks and a herb / mushroom trader nearby. Pleasant restaurant at the lake.

Very good place, view is superb, fresh air

The hotel is exceptional – spotless and incredibly cozy. The spa area features relaxing saunas and a heated pool, perfect for unwinding 😌. The restaurant serves mouthwatering dishes, including a divine homemade cake and their signature nougat ice cream 😍. The staff is warm and attentive, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend it!

One of the best places around Pamporovo and Smolyan Lakes area. If you are looking for good service, quality food and a bit of personal touch, this is the place for you. A bit remote from the noise of Pamporovo and the city but close enough to the ski slopes and the beautiful mountain!

The Oak Residence hosted the wedding celebration for my daughter in the beginning of this month (June 2023). We had guests from around Bulgaria, EU and USA and without exception everyone enjoyed every minute of their stay! The service and the food are excellent and the hospitality is exemplary.
