Happy Family Guesthouse in Kampot

Everything was great! The family is so lovely and helpful too! Rooms are spacious with everything you might need and very central location! The only issue for us was that there was no hot water which seems to be quite common for Cambodia!

The only thing is there is no fridge in the room, but besides and not soo much hot water but besides that, we had a great time

Great stay in Kampot. Modern hotel with large spacious rooms. Room was like the pictures, large double bed, good AC/wifi. Staff were all very friendly. The hotel is 5 mins from the night market and 10 to the riverside restaurants/bars.

We hired a bike for a good price (5USD) with no issues. We also booked our bus to PP through the hotel which was no more expensive (~8 USD for a minivan or 10 for a bigger coach).

You can a scooter from the hotel for $5/day. There is no need to leave your passeport...

Good enough for me .so high recommend for you to travel to kampot and looking for guesthouse..... So try this place if you are staying and do traveling around the city . It's easy to walk around in city center of kampot ...... Don't forget this place.

We liked the feel of this guesthouse and so extended our stay to one week. The place is very clean, spacious rooms, good a/c, great hot showers and most of all Nyta who runs the place is very friendly and kind. She also speaks excellent English so can give you lots of tips. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse has every basic need a traveler could need. It’s also pretty centrally located which is ideal. But what stood out for me more than anything else was the hospitality and how much they truly care tor their guests. I had a bad experience being robbed while in Kampot. I was very shaken up over it all but Nyta and her family were amazing at comforting me during a time I really needed it. Nyta stayed with me during the multi hour process at the police station as a translator. Later in the night her husband went with the police to track down the guys who robbed me and retrieve back what was stolen. It was incredible how much they seemed to care about me and to ensure I was taken care of. Please don’t let this review deter you from visiting Kampot, robberies can happen anywhere. It’s a really nice city to visit. Thank you again Happy Family. Y’all are the best and I’m forever grateful for how you took care of me. I wish you all a happy long life! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a wonderful stay here. Our host, Nyta, was very kind and friendly, providing local information and suggestions. The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious and the AC worked well. Highly recommend Happy Family for your visit to Kampot.
