Maisons Wat Kor is a beautiful oasis to rest and relax whilst in Battambang. We were so impressed with the ethos of this hotel which choses to use recycled materials and solar power. Our room was so, so spacious with an enormous bed, air conditioning, as well as ceiling fans. It was lovely to have a dressing table area, and an excellent bathroom with a really, great rain shower. Coffee is not provided but you can ask the staff to make one at any time, they want to promote using less disposable packaging but also want guests to feedback on the Cambodian coffee they use. All of the staff are very polite, attentive and friendly without being intrusive, they are a credit to the hotel and made our stay even more memorable. We ate in the restaurant on our last evening which was a delight, the food was amazing and so fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel as a must to stay in if visiting Battambang and if you have the opportunity to have dinner in the restaurant then do.

A charming and peaceful Khmer-style place nestled in the jungle. Everything is beautiful and well-kept, the rooms are clean and well-appointed. The food is excellent. The staff is incredible, kind and friendly. Our favorite place in Cambodia.

Excellent hotel where we stayed for a couple of nights and wished we had booked to stay longer. The hotel is in beautiful grounds and everything is done to make the whole environment attractive. When you arrive there is a warm welcome with a welcome drink. Tea, coffee and water are available free of charge whenever you want. The rooms are comfortable – soft beds and pillows were a welcome change from most hotels. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The food is delicious, not at all expensive and beautifully presented. There is a nice swimming pool with loungers and a tented room if you want to have a massage. There is a nearby temple and once a week there are early morning prayers, but on the ground floor the noise was minimal. Maybe slightly noisier on the first floor? A few minutes from the hotel (turn left) there is a small street market which operates early morning, if you want to buy some fruit. Battenbang itself has so much to see. It is a lovely little town with colonial architecture. Several wats to visit. The railway is great fun riding on a little service trolley and the excellent Jaan Bai restaurant is a must visit in town. You can also see rice paper making, banana rice-paper snacks, rice wine tasting, or see how they make fish sauce. Very friendly place.

Amazing, freshly prepared food, so tasty. Big breakfast choice of variety of foods, lunch/supper menu: we had the vegetarian amok stew and the fish/chips. The stew was so delicious. The rooms/accommodation/outside areas are done in a Khmer style but are stylish and clean. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Such a beautiful place.

This boutique hotel is colourful, comfortable and very well managed. Staff were great. Owner went out of his way to resolve a small annoyance which was not directly hotel related. Food very good. So why not 5 stars? 1. The hotel is away from the centre of Battambang, heavy reliance on local transport. 2. The price per night reflects a higher quality hotel than Maisons really is, though it is very nice. I think it is over priced when compared to higher ( 5 star) hotels elsewhere in Cambodia. The quality of the infrastructure is a little rustic which, of course adds to it's charm. High tech it ain't. All that said, we had a really pleasant stay - no grumbles. If I could give 4.8 stars I would - but Trip Advisor doesn't allow that. Therefore my constructive observations can't stretch to the full 5 stars. But do go there for a "wow" experience.

A lovely little rustic hotel where you are treated like royalty by the staff - nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and the rooms although a little tired are a good size with amenities. The pool is tranquil space and the lily pond adds to the ambience.

Maison Wat Kor is a very specisl place. From the moment you enter the driveway it has a beautiful zen like oasis feel. Our room was stunning and well appointed and we did not want to leave. Kim Nou and his team went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful , they are all truly the most lovely people and we felt like we were saying goodbye to family when it was time to leave. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner in the restaurant on one of our nights. Food incredible and if you havent yet eaten amok , this is the place to try it. It happened to be my husbands birthday during our stay and the team made such an effort to make it special . We know we will return to this beautiful place , room , location , food and most of all the people make Maison Wat Kor a place you won’t forget

I had a wonderful stay at the Maison WatKor. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the property is beautiful. What really made my stay even more special was the fantastic staff and owners. I was lucky to celebrate my birthday during my stay, and the owners and staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. They surprised me with a lovely “Happy Birthday” message arranged with flowers and greenery on my bed, a birthday dessert and a lovely gift. Maison Wat Kor owners and staff were very attentive to the minimum details and that made my stay truly memorable!

This hotel is of a European two-star standard. It's best to know this before you go. The staff is friendly, but the facilities are mediocre, and the rooms are uncomfortable, poorly finished, and noisy. I don't recommend this place if you're looking for premium accommodation. It resembles a youth hostel, so it's suitable for students or young people.
