We (2 seniors) had room 11. A daughter, with a car, joined us overnight.

Room 11 has a queen bed plus a separate bedroom with a queen bed… a full size fridge, a microwave and updated walk-in shower. It faces the highway .

There is lots of highway traffic but no traffic noise evident when the street facing door is closed.

Reception is very friendly. The egg sandwiches were great. Beds were very comfortable.
I spoke with the operators prior to booking mainly because we were arriving in Cache Creek by bus and would be arriving at the motel on foot. They were very accommodating to our needs.

We walked 450 m in 30C heat from the bus stop to Anies Pizza and Bakery for lunch. The owner there offered to drive us the final 450 m to Sage Hills. The ride was unplanned but greatly appreciated.

Cache Creek was a fun stop!

We booked the room based off the pictures from *******. It looked older but nice. We were absolutely wrong though. The shower stopped working and the tub facet wanted to fall off the wall. The toilet seat was an adventure you weren’t sure you would survive unscathed. There was a shelf that wasn’t holding itself let alone anything else. There was no where to sit other than the beds, but they are on rollers so if you attempt to sit up leaning against the wall it rolls away on you. Maybe it was only room 10 that is this way? When we left at about 6:00 am all of the exterior lights were off for us to load up. I mean it was dark and being unfamiliar with the layout we weren’t sure where the steps were. Oh, almost forgot a mysterious hole in the wall with a painted cardboard cover that fell off is there for whatever small creature lives in it to come out at night… Seriously worst hotel we stayed in all of Canada. Places with way less infrastructure than Cache Creek have much better accommodations. We would happily accept a refund for this truly awful room experience. We do have videos and pictures if needed.
Thank you for reading.

The motel served its purpose for what we needed it for. The AC and heat units are a bit loud, especially during the night when you’re sleeping. Hotel is pet friendly, and the staff was very polite and helpful.Sage Hills fits in to the surrounding areas just fine, but there isn’t a lot to do in cache Creek.

The Sage Hill Motel will be my choice every time I choose to stay in Cache Creek from here on in! My dog and I were very weary travelers, after driving for 11 hours, and had to find a place to stay for the night at the spur of the moment. The Sage Hill welcomed us with such warmth, and smiles, such wonderful people! The room was reasonably priced and very clean.
I was even brought a sandwich for my morning breakfast, which I was able to enjoy literally looking at the sage hills behind the motel! Thank you both, so much, for your hospitality, and welcome!

This was a terrible experience… bathroom walls and door were dirty and sticky, no curtain on bathroom window, dirty floors and the room stunk terrible. Could not stay.

Very run down but the people were great and was able to charge my EV on site.

I stayed there about a month ago - on my first day of my vacation, and then returned for another day on my way home. I just love the room - and they were able to let me have the same room both times!! Such very nice people and very accommodating. Room was super clean - and had what I needed for just an overnight stay. I will definitely stay here again - hoping to get the same room.

Sister trip traveling with 3 small dogs. Owner and staff were able to accommodate our needs. Room was clean and comfortable but there was a coffee pot with no coffee. Inside the microwave was very dirty. All in all it was a good experience

The facility is wearing out and needs a bit of maintenance here and there though, the receptionists are very welcoming and friendly. We got to comfortably cool the dinner and enjoy the stay.

We enjoyed their homemade egg sandwiches for breakfast.

We heard frogs orchestra all night from the river at the back, and it was relaxing.

It was our last over-night stop on the way home in Vancouver, BC from Prince George.

Thanks a lot for the great hospitality.

I was quite impressed with this motel. My expectations weren't very high since it was the least expensive option available. But, I was surprised to see how large the room was, which even included a kitchenette, stocked with dishes, and a nice sized fridge and freezer. The bathroom was very clean and nice with newer flooring. The bed was also very comfortable with nice pillows, a cozy comforter and very clean sheets. It was also a little table with two chairs for eating, a nice size flat screen TV, and a large mirror on the wall, which I appreciated. To top it all off, the host staff, which appear to be a husband and wife team, were extremely friendly and respectful. The wife came and asked if we wanted homemade egg salad sandwiches for breakfast. She said I will be making it personally myself and will deliver it to you in the morning. She was so sweet and considerate, and the sandwiches or absolutely delicious. We enjoyed having a room at the back of the motel, which faced the mountainside. We were able to sit outside on our camp chairs and enjoy the fresh air and view, while we ate our dinner. There is even a river running through the scene, down a bit of a canyon, which further added to the relaxing mood. We obviously highly recommend this motel for a pleasant stopover while traveling through cache Creek. Sorry, I didn't get any photos.
