If you’re planning to ski/snowboard at Kicking Horse, this is a great place to stay!

We stayed over the weekend - checking in on Friday and checking out on Monday. There was a complimentary breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. I also appreciated that they switched up what was offered each day for the meat, eggs and potatoes.

The hot tub was nice and hot, the pool was a good temp too. There was never more than 3 groups in there at a time and more often than not, we were the only ones in there.

The staff are super friendly and kind, our room was super clean and housekeeping did a great job restocking anything we were low on.

Two small considerations - the outlets on the lamps barely held a charge, and although there were tons of outlets on the wall, they weren’t close to the bed. If we wanted to charge our phones by our bed, we had to unplug everything.

The water pressure of our shower was great but every few minutes there would be an annoying squeaky, whistling noise coming from the facet - we’d have to jiggle or push down the valve down and pull it back up again.

Besides that, we enjoyed our stay and would book here again!

hot tub wasn't working (which they lied about over the phone) which is the only reason i went for the hotel instead of a hostel. They offered me a discount but then couldn't process it so... The room also wasn't super clean. They needed to wipe down some stuff there crumbs all over the place. Some positives the breakfast was decent, the room was decent size, bed was comfy. The location isn't perfect but is okay Golden's small if you're driving. I might stay here again, but like i said the hot tub not working was a complete let down.

Our family of four stayed here for our Canadian Rockies vacation in order to save money compared to Banff. We were happy with our stay. The breakfast was nice.

This is a Holiday Inn chain hotel, so the quality is generally reliable. The room was clean, the hot water was strong, and the heater worked well. The hotel doesn’t automatically provide disposable items like toothbrushes or toothpaste, so it’s best to bring your own, but you can always ask the front desk if you forgot.

Breakfast met the basic expectations, and I appreciated the self-serve hot water and coffee. The room also had a microwave, and the front desk service was very good

Rooms were nice, but our night was quite unpleasant. Between 12:30am-3:00am there were drunk people moving between rooms in the hallway loudly, it was impossible to sleep that entire time. 6am an alarm in the room next to ours (presumably empty) started going off and could be heard through the walls, with nobody to shut it off.

Breakfast has a lot of potential to be awesome, great variety of hot food and a nice seating area. When we ate at 9:30 there was still lots left but it was all about room temperature, if hot still the breakfast would be really good.

The bath tub is very slippery and should have a bath mat to avoid falling. The towel rack is not well fixed on the wall and is very shaky.

The room was not as adversitised and does not exist so needs to be changed on trip site.
I told staff that the bathroom wasn’t clean and they did nothing about it. No free drinking water in the room or hotel just warm tap water from the bathroom tap.

Breakfast was a joke, things weren’t replenished when they ran out, most things were finished 30 mins before breakfast ended. There wasn’t enough food or seating and a noisy truck delivering to the hotel obscured the view throughout breakfast.

I didn’t find the service to be that helpful and I wouldn’t recommend.

Almost always have had something wrong with my food. Twice my nuggets tasted old as if they had sat around all day, then I upsized my fries and drink got neither. Went and got the right sized drink but didn’t notice my fries until I was halfway home.

Probably the worst one I've been to. That bathroom has been in disrepair for months now and only one sink works. The staff were decent but it makes me feel like the sanitary conditions are questionable....

Pretty grungy, but I guess that's to be expected for the place that pretty much everyone stops at for a bathroom break on the way into BC.

The service has always been fast and mostly accurate, but the last couple times we've been there, parts of the bathroom were out of order.

Normally I hate McDonald's, and get terrible service. We were driving through and my brother decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Upon entering the entire restaurant was packed. Not a single table open, people were even huddling in the corner.
The line up was out the door, I almost just turned around and left. However, I couldn't have waited more than 10 minutes to wait in line, place my order and get my food. I've never been so impressed. I get it's fast food, but with the amount of people there I was expecting to be waiting forever!
All in all, the best and fastest service I've ever gotten at a McDonald's.

Probably the worst Chinese restaurant I have eaten in North America. The Seafood Soup which contains handful of frozen tiny shrimp, bits of cuttlefish and tofu is bland. The Shanghai Fried Noodle is also bland and just had tiny bits of "ham". The Ginger Fried Chicken is the worst of all. Not only food is bland, this restaurant give you 90% flour and 10% meat for this dish - clearly run by a group of dishonest folks. Lastly, if you ever been to that restaurant, you will find familiarity that the kitchen looks like built up from an old toilet. My advice is go somewhere else even if you have some cash and stomach to spare.

Food was good! Some staff didn't know English, should know it if your serving customers in Canada! The rice had that distinctive smell and taste of Good Chinese cuisine! Recommend eating here but be for warned they get a lot of tour busses, so it can fill up quickly! Food came out in a very impressive time!

They messed up on almost our whole order, we ordered 6 mini strudels that are on 3 for 50 cents and they charged us 40 cents each after questioning it and we ordered 20 pack of honey timbuts and only gave us 4 honey and the rest assorted then we also ordered a strawberry donut and they gave us a different kind I don’t even know what it’s called the manager is the only person that could do something right. They better up their game or get better employees

Always friendly staff every time I drop in on long drives. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Food comes quick.

The most rude staff I've ever seen. They bark for customers to speak up, they yell from across the restaurant. They made me feel dumb. I asked to see what a small cup looked like and I just got "it looks like a small" with an eye roll. I had to explain I just wanted to see the size.
One other girl was literally YELLING at customers. Not in a rude why, she was just loud. We had to sit as far away from the till so we weren't bothered by her yelling.
The quality of the food they made was the most poor I've ever seen from a Tims.

If I could give this Tim Hortons 0 stars I would. It took 30 minutes for me to get a 12 Grain Bagel toasted with butter. It was not only cold but completely charred. I would've gotten a new one but it would've taken another 30 minutes. Terrible terrible place.
