I don't understand why such pampered people think a motel is supposed to be an all-inclusive resort with the highest of luxuries. Yes, the floor is cold, the bed squeaks, and nearly all the outlets are too loose to use, but there's heat, hot water, towels, two beds, free soap, and even appliances like a fridge, microwave, and TV! What's more to need? Mary's provided the bed and shower I needed for the night and I am happy with that.

Great value for the price, very basic but had everything we needed - decent beds, warm, hot water, clean shower with good pressure, fridge, kettle, coffee maker. Hottub and sauna on prem that we used were great too! Nice and quiet.

The rooms could definitely use an update as there were many stains in the carpet. Also the towels don't appear to be overly clean. Our remotes volume wasn't working for the tv. We had no hot water in the sink but had hot water in the shower so just used that tap.
I understand this isn't a 5 star motel and we stayed here mainly for the parking area as we were a large unit. On the plus side the location is so convenient for a lot of eating establishments.

Travelling through town for a single night. First room had mold behind the toilet. They moved us to a second, and the floor made our feet (all 4 of us...) so black we needed to wash our feet before getting into bed. Bathroom smelled of urine upon entry. Dead mosquitoes squished onto the walls with tiny blood spots. The pool smelled strongly of chemicals and went foggy half way down, couldn't see bottom of pool - did not go in
We're glad we're just passing through and will be on the road asap.
Side note, Red Tomato Pies pizza is delicious and I recommend! Just pickup, as they quoted me an additional thirty minutes for delivery - it was a 3min walk lol

This hotel was very dirty! The carpets were stained, and wet in places, and the room smelled awful. The whole room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. We came to this motel as the price seemed good, but it was too high for the quality we got. Not only was the room disgusting, but the wifi also didn’t work. I do not recommend staying here unless there are no other options.

The rooms aren’t very clean & require a good scrub down. Toilet area smells like urine & once I purchased Lysol wipes, they were black immediately. Lamps, walls, light fixtures, coffee maker, furniture, microwave, etc are all filthy. Fire alarm beeps every time you shower. Don’t walk around the units in socks if they’re carpeted. If you do stay, I’d suggest bringing your own towels—the ones provided are thinner than a paper towel. It’s impossible to get a hold of staff or front desk. Pool & hot tub need cleaning & sauna is broken. Their rates are the cheapest in town but not worth the savings. Stay anywhere else you can.

It's ok, I get that in a tourist town prices run higher but it was expensive for what we got.
"Adult grilled cheese" was on special, which sounded great, except that it was $17 for a small sandwich with a cup if soup.
Server was great, kitchen was really slow in an almost empty restaurant.

Great location at the Riverside, good selection of local beer and wine. Lunch was massively overrides for a Terry small, pretty ordinary meal.

I don't think I arrive late enough for anything good to happen! I wanted people watching. Didn't happen. DJ was ok.

Patio on the Kicking Horse River, awesome location. Food is exceptional but priced like it was in Vancouver ☹️. However, the staff made up for it - super friendly and attentive.
