Booked this hotel specifically for the South Bank night view, and even with the holiday price hike for May Day, the view was definitely worth it. The pool is huge, and in the evening, you can walk to Xiahao Old Street, which is beautifully lit up with lots of food options along the way. This is Chongqing's State Guesthouse, covering five acres with beautiful garden-style landscaping. We were upgraded to a suite, which was well-equipped and new. Battling jet lag after returning from the UK, I chose to stay at The Westin. The hotel's night view room was spacious and had a huge bathtub 🛁. The staff were incredibly attentive!
