Western Fortune Premier Hotel in Fuzhou

This hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating. In my opinion, it isn’t even worthy of 3 stars.

The first issue was at check-in. I specifically requested a non-smoking room in my booking because I was traveling with my family my son, my mother, my wifeand I are all non-smokers. Despite this, we were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and even the entire floor had a lingering smoke odor. It seemed like someone had been smoking near the elevators despite the clearly displayed no-smoking signs.

The room itself also had a serious safety issue. The bed frame extended beyond the mattress with very hard, exposed corners. Every time you walked around the bed, it was easy to hit your legs on the sharp corners. During our two-night stay, I hit the bed five times. It’s a poor and potentially dangerous design, especially for families with children or elderly guests.

The service was also disappointing. When we arrived, there were two staff members, including a butler in uniform, standing at the entrance. They came outside to check whether our taxi could stop at the door, but despite seeing that we had four large suitcases and were traveling with my elderly mother and young son, no one offered to help carry even a single bag. We had to haul everything ourselves up the slope and to our room. I understand I can carry my own luggage, but at a hotel claiming to be 5-star, basic hospitality and consideration should be expected.

Overall, this hotel falls far short of the standards of a luxury property. Between the smoking room, poor service, and safety concerns in the room, I cannot recommend staying here. If you’re looking for a genuine 5-star experience, choose another hotel. This one is simply not worth the money.

Good hotel, room is small from compatible hotels.

This hotel is pretty good! The location is great, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The service is excellent, and the price is reasonable, so I'd say it's good value for money. It's a solid choice for business trips, tourism, or couples.

The hotel was clean and the location is strategic. The staff were friendly and helpfu. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it

Very good. The front desk service was friendly and polite. There's complimentary coffee available, and it tastes pretty good. The hotel has already started its Chinese New Year decorations, creating a great atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, a nice experience.

I stayed at this hotel whenever I visiting Fuzhou. The hotel staff was friendly and hotel environment was good. This hotel was built quite sometimes ago and the facilities are getting older. May be toilet need to do some upgrading due to wear and tear. Overall experience was good.

Specially to mention is the cordial and tactful services by a front desk man name Austin, he managed my incoming n outgoing samples n packages well..
Will n has been my Fuzhuo choice.
I heard they gonna upsize some of their rooms which is good news.
