Hilton Zhengzhou in Zhengzhou

Overall, my New Year's Day stay was pretty good, but there was a persistent, subtle cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom. It wasn't overwhelming, but it was always there. Either someone smoked in there previously, leaving a lingering scent, or the smell is wafting in through the ventilation pipes in the ceiling. They really should investigate this, especially since it's a non-smoking room. The breakfast was good, everything you'd expect was there, and the spicy soup (Hulatang) was delicious.

As always, Hilton provides a reliable and reassuring stay. The room quality and service level here are arguably top-tier in the local area.

Every time I visit Zhengzhou, my biggest fear is that the hotel won't live up to expectations, especially the smoke smell, which has almost become a norm. As someone with severe nasal allergies, this experience is truly tormenting.

Before checking in this time, I specifically requested a non-smoking room with absolutely no trace of smoke. Belle, the lobby manager, was incredibly attentive. She personally inspected the room and confirmed there was no residual smoke smell before arranging for my check-in. The moment I entered the room, I let out a sigh of relief. The room was fresh and comfortable, allowing me a rare moment of relaxation.

Many thanks to Belle and all the service staff for their professionalism and attention to detail. This level of service makes me unhesitatingly decide: next time I'm in Zhengzhou, this will still be my first choice.

My first visit to this particular property. I have stayed at many Hilton Hotels in my travels and have always been satisfied with their professional staff and accommodating facilities. This hotel is no different. The General Manager Albert Kaindlbauer and his staff were exception from the moment I arrived in Zhengzhou. The hotel car service was waiting at the airport as promised and quickly got me to my room which was appreciated after more than 22 hours of air travel. The driver was friendly and spoke English well enough for us to chat along the route. One note on that, I read previous reviews of this hotel that were critical of the English speaking ability of the staff here. I find that comical since this hotel is in the heart of China. One should not expect the entire hotel to be fluent in English. While some staff had not quite mastered the English language, I did not find that to be a problem at all. My overall impression of the hotel staff Is outstanding. Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I received outstanding treatment and felt at home here.

The room I had had was a spacious suite that was a complimentary upgrade due to my Lifetime Diamond status. My thanks to Iris Liu for that perk. The suite was very comfortable and met all my needs. It was located on a high floor so traffic noise was non-existent. Views of the city skyline were spectacular on days where the pollution was minimized by the wind. High scores for the accommodations.

The property is located near the Central Business District in the heart of the city. It is not a resort hotel with lush gardens on a beachfront. So yes, there is a main thoroughfare in front of the hotel. If noise is a concern for you, then ask for a room on a higher floor.

This hotel has several restaurants with a good variety of options. I did enjoy the buffet immensely. A very large spread with many options sumptuous options for any palate. Very reasonably priced as well. But I also enjoyed being close by to many local restaurants and street food vendors was able to take in much of the culture within footsteps of the front door.

I really can't think of single thing bad to say about my stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it to any traveler whether staying in Zhengzhou on business or holiday. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and I really love the decor. The pool temperature is constant, so the kids had a great time too. The restaurant food is good. Overall, it's a great hotel and meets high-end standards.

The stay was excellent, with great service. Lux service was particularly thoughtful and deserves a commendation! The Happy Hour at the Executive Lounge also offered warm and attentive service. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Service: Enthusiastic reception from the moment I walked in.

We happened to be there on Christmas Eve, and it was so heartwarming to see staff dressed as Santa Claus handing out candy to the kids last night.

The gym is 24-hour, and the pool is open from 6 AM to 10 PM. I swam without goggles and thought the water quality was excellent.

The hotel service was also great. When I asked for a fruit knife, they just went ahead and cut the fruit for us.

The Chinese breakfast selection was a bit limited but tasted good, while the Western pastries were absolutely amazing!

If I had to find a fault, it would be that the hand cream in the restroom had too strong of a scent, 😂😂😂

My friend asked me when she visited, 'What's the difference between this and those business hotels next to Zhengzhou University?' The facilities are just very average (one bedside lamp in my room was crooked and wobbly). Plus, the front desk service throughout the hotel was really subpar, leaving a very mediocre impression overall. It honestly feels like they're just coasting on their old brand name...
