EAST Hong Kong in Hong Kong

Had a pretty good stay in the hotel. Things feel clean and new. The only issue we had was that the blinds don’t go down all the way so light gets through early in the morning when we need some sleep. The staff were super helpful, we were lacking a usb cable to charge our phones and they delivered 2 for us. Very nice.

Hotel is quite artistically decorated. Loved the experience.

Nice hotel for staycation - offering a great view of Victoria Harbour and half of Hong Kong island at top floors. They also have a nice rooftop bar, which makes the atmosphere great. A working space / cafe is offered downstairs on ground floor and 1st floor, making the hotel very cozy and calming.

Exceptional Service, Style, and Thoughtful Details!

I recently stayed at EAST Hong Kong for five days during a business trip, and it was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Having stayed at numerous hotels worldwide, EAST is one property I can confidently recommend to friends and colleagues alike.

My flight landed late, and I arrived around 1:00 AM, but the check-in process was seamless, swift, and welcoming. The room itself was impressively spacious—a delightful surprise given Hong Kong's reputation for compact hotel rooms.

I highly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, particularly the complimentary filtered water station, which eliminated the need for single-use plastic bottles. The room's charming little speaker made my mornings brighter, and the welcome amenity was a lovely touch.

The highlight of my stay, however, was the impeccable service. Since I travel with my own pillow, Dora from the housekeeping team thoughtfully put a fresh pillowcase on it for me. I have never experienced this level of attentiveness at any other hotel. It was a small gesture, but it truly reflects how much the staff genuinely cares about guest comfort.

Coffee at Domain is a must, and their Flat White is exceptional. 'Sugar', the rooftop bar, was another major highlight—the views and atmosphere are stunning, the bartenders are highly professional, and their signature cocktails inspired by Hong Kong cinema added a wonderful local touch.

Overall, EAST Hong Kong perfectly combines comfort, style, and intuitive service with an authentic local vibe. I will absolutely highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

My favorite hotel in Hong Kong, reinforced again after our stay last week. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been staying here and STILL the service, the rooms and the location are my favorite. The team always go over the top to ensure our stay is special, the main restaurant (for breakfast) is diverse and fresh, the rooftop cocktail bar has a wonderful view (and good drinks ;-), but the magic is the location. The hotel is sitting right on top of the metro so access to Central and Kowloon couldn’t be simpler. We’ll be back and thanks again to the whole team for your service!

The staff members are very approachable and they take action promptly. To illustrate, I called the customer service department to request some cotton buds, which was then quickly delivered to my room. And the staff members always wear a smile on their face, so I feel that they are so friendly and nice and are willing to serve the hotel guests.

The room is nice and spacious and looks like the pictures. Very clean and comfortable and harbour view room has great views which is lovely. Location is good as right next to subway station but have to get MTR if want to visit city centre as a little further out from main shopping , restaurants and attractions.

Breakfast is okay with good selection but coffee is from an instant machine and very bitter. I would recommend improving the coffee at breakfast and changing the tea bags as very weak.


Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Conveniently located next to MTR Station and shopping malls and Taikoo area.

The room is as per advertised. It is cozy. We come back again next time in HK.
