The hotel is beautifully designed with a Tang Dynasty aesthetic and offers excellent transport links; the subway is just around the corner. While it's an older hotel, it's very clean and tidy. It's incredibly close to major attractions like Badaguan, Fushan Road, Lu Xun Park, and the beach. It's the perfect choice for exploring the city. The price of just over 500 RMB during the May Day holiday was incredibly reasonable.

The Huanghai Hotel used to be a foreign-affairs hotel, designed with the most luxurious, thoughtful, and top-tier standards of its time. Its location is absolutely superb. The Beer Museum, Naval Museum, Underwater World, and the beach are all within walking distance. The Shandong cuisine restaurant on the first floor is also a long-standing Qingdao institution, with very high standards – definitely don't miss it!

This campus hotel is clean and tidy, equipped with a desk lamp, and I even got to try some specialty biscuits from Qingdao – very thoughtful! They also have a drying rack and laundry detergent, amenities that other hotels might not have considered... truly excellent! Next time, I might visit the Ocean University again. It's very close to Xiaoyushan Park, and I recommend walking or taking a taxi, as driving can be quite congested 🚗🛻🚙🚘.

True to its star rating, the overall quality of this hotel was excellent! The lobby was sophisticated and clean, and check-in was very fast. The front desk staff were attentive and helpful. Our room was spotless, free of any odors, and the mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were of high quality. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, our stay was incredibly satisfying and I highly recommend it!

Spring is a fantastic time to visit Qingdao, with flowers blooming everywhere. This hotel is perfectly situated for flower viewing. You can wake up to their scent, enjoy them throughout the day, and linger among them in the evening. The hotel offers ultimate convenience because Zhongshan Park is right downstairs, and you can access Taiping Mountain Greenway just by stepping out of the hotel.

Everything was satisfactory, especially the service. From the doorman outside, the bellboy in the lobby, to the front desk staff and housekeeping, everyone was warm, thoughtful, and meticulous. I had some local specialties for my friends that needed refrigeration. My room had a mini-fridge, but after the staff learned about it, they were concerned it wouldn't be cold enough. They proactively brought in a small ice chest and helped me transfer all the items. So incredibly thoughtful, huge thumbs up! 👍

A truly romantic getaway! The housekeeping staff assigned me a room with an amazing view, perfect for a tourist like me. I had a fantastic view of the sea and beautiful red houses right from my window. I also booked the sunrise service and got to witness a stunning sunrise. Thumbs up!
