A lifesaver for self-driving tourists: free parking, a self-service laundry, and a super-sized drying room – perfect for washing dirty clothes right after exploring the ancient city and Erhai Lake. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are enthusiastic, and staying here makes visiting Dali Ancient City worry-free and convenient. I'll choose this place again next time!

We were incredibly lucky to stay at Dali Yunjian Hotel (North Gate of Ancient City) ✨ The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay. The biggest surprise was witnessing the breathtaking 'Jesus rays' through the floor-to-ceiling window – beams of light piercing through the clouds and illuminating Cangshan Mountain and the fields below. The view was both stunning and therapeutic.

The hotel is very close to the North Gate of Dali Ancient City, offering a prime location and a quiet environment, perfect for resting during your travels. It's convenient whether you want to explore the ancient city or head out for a drive. Our stay exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend it!

The location is genuinely great, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to the action. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the North Gate of the old town, and it's also super convenient to catch a taxi if you want to go further.

The front desk staff were efficient and provided prompt service. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise! The room itself was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and a dedicated vanity table – perfect for girls to do their makeup and get ready.

Our room had a balcony, and it was so relaxing to sit out there in the evening enjoying the breeze. We were incredibly lucky to even see Tyndall light! The room was spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including complimentary coffee. Plus, there's a buffet breakfast in the morning.

The hotel also has a very gentle and friendly large dog, which was absolutely adorable and added a lovely, warm touch to our stay.

It was a stroke of luck to be able to book this hotel last minute during the peak summer season. The hotel is located near the North Gate, about 2-3 kilometers from Sanyue Street, Caicun, and Chongsheng Temple. The twin room was spacious with a large balcony, perfect for drying clothes. The king room offered floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of Cangshan Mountain, and the rooftop views were stunning. The buffet breakfast included both Chinese and Western options. The staff were warm and courteous, and they offered free pick-up from the station. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

What an amazing view from the room ! We loved it so much plus it's a walking distance from all the nice places. Best hotel I've been to in Dali so far. The staff is very friendly. You are in the heart of Dali without being in the busy noisy area

The room was a bit small and breakfast was just okay. Service and cleanliness were decent. The guesthouse is located in an alley, which is quite quiet, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the ancient city. You can see Cangshan Mountain from the room, so the view is pretty good.
