The room photos are different from other reviews and match the information on Trip.com. The location is great, right in front of the East Gate, but the room smells strongly of cigarette smoke and mold.
The laundry is a plus, but if you stay multiple nights, they don't provide extra cleaning.
The room cleanliness is quite poor. I stay in hotels over 50 times a year, and of all the hotels I've stayed in China in the past three years, this one had the worst hygiene.
The guest card key broke, and so did the key, keeping me out for two hours at night. A repairman came in the morning while I was sleeping and started fixing it. Trip.com had already confirmed my room was checked out at 11 a.m. I'm so tired.

The room was clean and tidy, and right in the old town, it was very convenient for getting around. The sunset view from the upstairs balcony was beautiful. The owner was also very friendly and helpful in providing travel tips and contacting travel agents. It was a great stay.

It was a perfect stay! The owner's thoughtful care was evident throughout the B&B, from the exquisite decor to the comprehensive amenities. The host was as friendly as an old friend and helped with all our questions. I felt a rare warmth here, a truly heartwarming experience.

Dali ethnic costume experience: I didn't get to experience it. The costumes looked pretty ordinary, so I had no desire to try them.
Service: Ok.
Environment: The signal was extremely poor. There was no signal at all in the room, absolutely no service at all. The Wi-Fi signal was also extremely poor. If there was an emergency, there would be no one to help. The windows were also difficult to close.

I have to give this B&B a full score! 💯 From check-in to check-out, the experience was truly amazing. The owner was incredibly kind. As soon as I arrived at the door, he proactively came to help with my luggage and enthusiastically introduced nearby restaurants and fun things to do. The room was also very clean, and taxis were easily accessible at the intersection.

The B&B is conveniently located right on Yu'er Road, the main street of the ancient city. It's very convenient for eating, drinking, playing, and traveling. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped. There's a terrace on the third floor with a view of Cangshan Mountain. You can relax with a cup of coffee and experience the slow pace of life in Dali. The owner is very kind and will provide various travel tips. I will definitely come again next time.

The owner is very nice. It rained heavily on the day we arrived, and we couldn't find the B&B. We called the owner and he came out to pick us up right away! He also helped us contact the bus to the high-speed rail station, but it was a pity that the weather was really bad those two days.

I stayed in their B&B when I came to Dali last year. This year I received a very cute lady who was very talkative and very nice. The B&B is located in the ancient city of Dali, close to the east gate.
