A truly wonderful experience! They even gifted us local Yunnan Ham mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival! They even gave our two children gifts upon check-out, which was incredibly heartwarming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang.

The hotel is located in the very heart of the ancient city, offering convenient access to everything. Renovated from a Qing Dynasty courtyard, the hotel itself exudes an antique charm. A tea table in the center of the courtyard is a delightful place for evening tea. The decor is very rustic, though due to its age, the soundproofing is somewhat poor. While there's no air conditioning, the temperature wasn't too high, and the bedding was high-quality, making for a comfortable sleep.
The hotel staff deserves special mention. They carried luggage in and out of the ancient city, helped with laundry, and provided every possible assistance. Although young, their calm yet warm and attentive service gave the hotel a homely feel, which is truly commendable. If I ever visit Lijiang again, I'll definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful guesthouse in a good location, and the breakfast is excellent. I stayed in two different rooms and both were wonderful. The staff were very helpful, including allowing me to leave a bag at the guesthouse while I hiked Tiger Leaping Gorge (which I absolutely recommend). No English is spoken but we got by with WeChat and translation services. If you need them to book your ticket for the glacier, make sure you ask them to send you screenshots of both QR codes (I could not access them myself on WeChat), as you will need these for the entrance to both the bus and the cable car. I took DiDis to the mountain park, and a local bus to Tiger Leaping Gorge (I booked this in advance at the bus stop). The staff were very helpful sending me the location pins I needed for DiDi.

I carefully selected Huajiantang Zhimengyuan before the trip, and it lived up to my expectations. They met me at the airport and collected my luggage at the gate of the ancient city, which saved me from walking on the stone-paved road in the ancient city with my luggage. The hotel is antique, the rooms are clean and tidy, the service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the in-room facilities are all available. The hotel is not far from Sifang Street, which is convenient for traveling, shopping and dining. The service attitude is very good, not too far or too close, taking care of the guests' feelings, providing fruit drinks in the room, thoughtful milk before bed, comfortable afternoon tea, and souvenirs before leaving. It's a warm service!

The setting is fantastic, with over 200 years of history and an antique charm. The courtyard is beautiful for taking photos. The staff proactively contacted us to wait in the parking lot to help with luggage. After exploring Lijiang Old Town, it's very convenient to return to the hotel to rest. It's worth staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the courtyard retained the original appearance of a family of three generations of Confucian doctors. There was complimentary afternoon tea in the courtyard every day, and the breakfast was also good. It was a very satisfying stay.

Loves the cat, people and rustic design style. Every thing about this place is great!
It is the people that made a place great. Whoever you meet in this inn, they are all equally friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every moment starting from arrival fetching, small talk in the court yard, winter night time BBQ to the early morning sending off.
Will stay here again if I visit Lijiang next time.

Great experience.
The staff are super attentive, they pick you up at the entrance of the old town, they offer fresh fruit, tea...The rooms are big, clean and have modern facilities. We recommend it a 100%.

Great ambience. Quiet yet close to the main road (although it is an uphill walk). The staff was helpful, even when helping to plan my itinerary for during my stay. Facilities are modern despite the rustic appearance.
