Lijiang Yinjian Inn in Lijiang

Great location in the heart of the old city, room had a nice traditional ambiance. While the staff didn't really speak English, they really went above and beyond to be helpful

During this trip to Lijiang, I stayed at YINJIAN Yinjian·Designer Private Holiday Viewing Courtyard, and the experience was perfect! The courtyard design is very ingenious, combining traditional Naxi architectural elements with modern aesthetics, dotted with flowers and plants, and a scene at every step. The room is spacious and bright, with complete smart equipment, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and the viewing balcony faces the scenery of the ancient city. In the morning, you can see the continuous green tiles when you open the window, and you can also encounter the beautiful sunset in the evening.
The boss is warm and hospitable. Not only does he plan the tour route attentively, but he also shares authentic food guides. Breakfast is freshly made Yunnan specialty rice noodles, which are fresh and delicious. The location is excellent, and you can walk to Sifang Street, which is quiet in the bustling city. Here you can feel the charm of the ancient city and enjoy a private and comfortable rest space. Highly recommended!

The boss is very good, he can carry two pieces of luggage easily. He helped me carry the luggage when I was tired from playing for the past two days, which really saved me a lot of effort. The room design is really beautiful and clean. The room we booked is very large and comfortable. The location is very good. It is just a few steps away from the viewing platform. It is very close to the most lively place in the scenic area, but it is not noisy at all when sleeping at night. Afternoon tea, evening drinks and breakfast are all available. The service is very good. The afternoon tea is delicious. The service is five-star. The stay is also very comfortable. I will stay here again next time.

Dyson hair dryer, heating pad, steam eye mask, everything is available. The scenery is great and the night view is even better. It is very close to the ancient city and only a few minutes to Sifang Street. It's just that it's too difficult to book this room, especially this room type...

The room is very large, especially suitable for family travel and outings with girlfriends. However, because it is a shared space, this room type is not recommended for those with poor sleep. Walking around at night will affect each other a little. However, this room has a small living room where it is fun to watch projection and eat supper together. The hotel provides afternoon tea, free coffee, good night sweet soup every night, and rice noodles for breakfast. The only drawback is that the water heater always fails to adjust the temperature.
Finally, I must praise the housekeeper An Zihuo. We forgot a few bags at the pick-up point of the reception building. After an hour, we reacted and contacted the housekeeper. The housekeeper helped us find the luggage as soon as possible and kept it for us until we came back from Yulong Snow Mountain. He also helped us send it back to the drop-off point of the reception building!

The room is very clean and warm. The small balcony overlooks the entire ancient city. The homestay is quaint and has the characteristics of the ancient city. It is very convenient to go out to the ancient city. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He sent afternoon tea, coffee, and Tremella soup, and helped with the luggage. It left us with many good memories of our trip to Lijiang. If we stay longer, we will continue to live here. It must be praised with 5 stars.

Hotel boss is fabulous , help us carried our luggage through the ancient city rocky pathway. Treated us with a team of very welcoming staff , brought us to a tea treat while waiting for admission. Arranged private tour for us within a limited time , great stay with a 10/10 overall view of the ancient city . Highly recommended to stay here , easily accessible to the ancient city and town

The inn is located on 狮子山, thus do reach out to the team via WeChat in advance to arrange for help with carrying the luggage from the road. The family room is extremely huge with 4 beds, a large bathroom and a projector. The staff is also very warm and helpful. He even helped to arrange for courier delivery of my luggage when 1 piece was left out on the stone bench when boarding the car! An overall very enjoyable stay. Definitely will recommend!

me and my family had a great 3-night stay here. love every bit of this place. the room is spacious, beds are comfortable and the service is top notch! also, i love their afternoon tea and coffee a lot! thanks to 小熊 and the crew for their great hospitality and always being so thoughtful and helpful 🫶 meeting nice people like them have made my travel experience in Lijiang more memorable. overall review is definitely worth more than 5 stars!

This is our family's first experience staying in a 民宿/Inn. This establishment is located INside Lijiang Ancient Town 丽江古城 (UNESCO world heritage site) and on a cobbled slope.
PRO
-The people running the place are very friendly and helpful. They helped us with every request including pre-booking car rides/transfers/day trip etc. We used data-esim so we do not have a local mobile#. We contacted inn before arriving via wechat and was able to arrange complimentary train pickup service. The staff helped carry our luggage to/from the transport points up/down cobbled slope to the Inn's lobby. The staff were all very helpful and patient with us (first time travellers to China). Thank you!
-Family room is clean and spacious, equipped with 智能管家 AI voice-operated facilities and DYSON hair-dryer. Room has big glass windows which let in natural life and view of Old Town.
-Breakfast is local porridge, picked vegetables, eggs, rice noodles 米线
CON
There are restaurants and convenience store within steps from the INN. To get to the Old Town's center where they are more food options is a down cobbled stone path 10-15mins walk. After that, it is the same way up slope to get back. Alternatively, it is to take a 5mins walk up cobbled path to the car drop-off point (Lion Head Lookout point), then walk via stairs/path down or call a DiDi. We tried both ways. Twice, the DiDi we were in were not allowed up the drive way by the security guarding the road up the Lion Head. Only registered cars are allowed in so we had to get off and walk.
The location is both a pro and a con especially if you have elderly or very young travelling companions.
