One of hotels on the hill of old city - but not the best, view is almost failed due to surroundings, staff don’t speak English at all, but room is ok

I visited this Chinese courtyard house with friends. The courtyard was thoughtfully designed, and the handsome owner was very welcoming, helping us with our luggage. He even treated us to flower cakes. I highly recommend it to young people.

The mountain view is right outside the window, and the morning mist, wrapped in the fragrance of grass and trees, drifts into the room. Even breathing feels soothing! The owner was so thoughtful and even recommended some off-the-beaten-path scenic routes for us. This stay was even more comfortable than expected. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I was blown away by the view from the guesthouse! Whether you were having tea on the balcony or relaxing in the common area, the scenery was absolutely stunning. The service was also excellent; they answered all my questions promptly, and the thoughtful details were a delightful surprise on this trip! [smile][smile]

The location is absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk to Sifang Street, the heart of the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the old town and shopping. The best part is the rooftop terrace; enjoying the breeze and the night view is so relaxing. I stayed two nights and still didn't get tired of it. The room was very soundproof; I couldn't hear any outside noise at night and slept flawlessly.

The warm and personal service is truly something I want to praise the most! From the moment I checked in, I could feel the warmth of the owner and staff. Not only did the owner upgrade my room, but he also patiently introduced me to nearby attractions and restaurants, and helped me plan my itinerary, like an old friend. During my stay at the inn, I received a small surprise from the owner every day, sometimes a cup of freshly ground coffee, sometimes a local snack. It was truly heartwarming. One day, I returned late from an outing and was worried the inn would be closed, but the owner waited for me and reminded me to be safe. That moment was truly touching. My stay at the Ancient City Inn has truly deepened my fondness for the city of Lijiang. If you're planning a trip to Lijiang, I highly recommend this inn; I'm sure you'll love it!

I found a very comfortable guesthouse in Lijiang Old Town! It's a great location, quiet yet conveniently situated, just a two-minute walk from the bar street and the old town center. The guesthouse is tucked away in an alley, making for a very peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. There are rooms with a view, so waking up to a panoramic view of the old town is truly wonderful – the scenery is amazing! The handsome owner is also very welcoming and provides excellent service. You can ask him for help with anything, like where to go in the area. He'll patiently explain the sightseeing routes. Staying here allows you to experience the atmosphere of the old town while enjoying peace and quiet. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I'm in Lijiang. Highly recommend it!

The guesthouse is located in the old town, making it very convenient to get there. It's quiet at night, and the upstairs offers a great view. The owner is incredibly kind; since the old town is all stone steps, the owner took a taxi to pick us up from the bottom of the old town and helped us with our luggage. We can also hire a car from the owner to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the next day – excellent value for money! They even extended our check-out time for free the following day!
