An absolutely wonderful inn experience! The environment, facilities, and service were all excellent. It's located right outside Baisha Ancient Town, offers views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and transportation is very convenient. The entire courtyard is cozy and clean, and there are many adorable little animals around. Highly recommend!

The environment is great, and you can get some amazing photos in the courtyard with a view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. There are cute puppies to pet, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. It's also super convenient, being very close to Baisha Old Town.

After my daughter finished her college entrance exams, we chose to visit Yunnan to help her relax and unwind. We stayed at the Taste Shuhe guesthouse. The environment here is elegant and peaceful, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable during our trip. The courtyard is lovely and very comfortable, with nice bedding. The location is also excellent and very convenient. The soundproofing between the two rooms could be better, so it's a good idea to bring earplugs. If there's no one next door, it's perfect.

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations! The room and courtyard were spotless, and the bed was huge. The Naxi architecture was truly unique, and it felt so romantic and beautiful when it rained. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was also really convenient for ordering food delivery. And taking a stroll through the old town in the early morning was incredibly pleasant!

Great traditional-style accommodation. The rooms and courtyard had an amazing atmosphere, and we also loved the very friendly puppy. The owner was great and very responsive. We were also extremely grateful to be upgraded to a better room, which was a lovely surprise. Our only issue was the poor soundproofing. Hotel located at Yuhu village, going in and out was a hassle as we have to inform the hotel of the car plate number in advance. And it's approx. an hr ride from the Lijiang railway station. There are quite afew popular cafes and restaurants within walking distance in the village. It would be a good location if u would like to explore around the village. Stayed in Rock Hotel for 3 night and it was a vacation well spent! Good location with view of the mountain and walking distance to Yuhu village. Room decoration is classy. Food was good, have set meal for Chinese or western breakfast and the servings were more than sufficient. There were plenty of activities organized by the hotel and we took part in sunshine and the night start viewing which was awesome...

Overall i am satisfied my one night stay in The Rock. However, i am not so impressed with the afternoon tea. Normally a good quality afternoon tea comes with sufficient cakes, scones, fruits, biscuits. But the afternoon serve by The Rocky is rather pathetic. Breakfast served was okay but no great. I see both the afternoon tea and breakfast should improve. I did not consider taking lunch or dinner...

The warmest stop of our honeymoon. Even with the language barrier, the owners were so kind and arranged everything thoughtfully, making our trip easy and enjoyable. Great breakfast, clean and comfortable room, a courtyard full of Naxi character, right in the old town with stone lanes outside the door. All the small thoughtful touches really moved us. Had a fantastic stay! The staff (guys and girls) were all super friendly. The owner provided lots of snacks and homemade drinks. A truly wonderful experience! They even gifted us local Yunnan Ham mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival! They even gave our two children gifts upon check-out, which was incredibly heartwarming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang.
