Where to stay in Trogir

My favourite hotel once I'd worked how to minimise dangerous steps. Lovely pool, pool staff & new Manageress Ivana (to whom I sent an email) Housekeeping a bit haphazard ... Sorry they lost the Bank supporting their non-functioning ATM. It recognised me but failed to deliver the €150 requested, so tipping was limited.

Good value for money, relatively pleasant rooms, accommodating service, food - surprisingly - good with varied menus, nice beaches, not overcrowded. The only minus is lack of activities for people who prefer active holidays. We will likely return for a shorter holiday.

Good vacation for a lot of money.. but french guests are more prefer as Slovak Czech Polish ppl.. better all inclusive not same food in bufet.. we paid same money but this is not correct from this hotel.. i was in Croatia 40 Times and this is nonsens

We had a great time at Hotel Medena. + very nice hotel + clean hotel + nice pool area + nice staff +++ The Bar Manager at the pool, Danijel, good man + boat taxi to trogir + close to beach, nice beach with bars and restaurants + nice tennis court + (for families) very good family area Ok breakfast - some of the staff didn’t speak english, just spoke in Coratian Would recommend this hotel!

Last visited 94- it’s been done up since then. A bit out in the sticks. Get uber from trogir about 6 e, cab from rank about 25!!! 1 hour walk- flat. Rooms on small side. Showers really good. Views lovely from upper floor rooms- I was on 6th. No gym. Pizza joint onsite closed. Nearest beach bar closed. Perhaps a seasonal thing. Staff- professional- first class. Breakfast ok- loads of choice- hot stuff...

Good location, nice lunch experience.

Staff was lovely. Room was a bit dated but big and spacious and wonderful. Breakfast was very good.

Welcoming staff checked us in, gave us a glass of Prosecco and then sat down with us to give recommendations of what to see and where to eat. Our room was clean spacious and comfortable.

I stayed for my 30th Birthday with my partner and had a fantastic time! The staff are super friendly and hospitable! Prime location and excellent facilities! I will definitely be back!

Had a terrible start of the trip at the airport after delays and a missed rental car. The staff was so helpful and made our stay make us feel much better. Recommended!

Wonderful staff who were very helpful and a lovely hotel, only a short walk into the old town of Trogir.

Main building is Lovely. Overall decoration done in style. Main Swimming pool cleanliness can be improved. Some debris and leaves at bottom. Breakfast Egg Benedict done to perfection, a must have.

The room was spacious. It was more spacious than I needed or wanted, so there are no complaints. I had a view of Trogir and the sea from my room. The breakfast was filling and tasty. There was a sauna in my room, which I didn’t expect, so I took advantage of it.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Upon check-in, we were given a larger room with a living area & balcony which made this stay really great for us. The XII Century hotel in Trogir is a great spot to feel like you're staying in history. Located inside the tiny walled island on the edge of town you're immersed in history once you step over the bridge. Our room was unique as it worked with the ancient architecture of the hotel. Pitched ceilings and views of the marina made it special.

Great place to stay in the middle of the old town, right on the waterfront. For travellers with heavy luggage, this is a historic building has no lift which can be a challenge when your room is on the 4th floor.

A nice boutique hotel located along the waterfront in the Old Town section of Trogir Croatia. Hotel Monika was the perfect place to stay! The location was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. They even prepared a to-go lunch for us since we had an early flight and would miss breakfast. An outstanding hotel in a peaceful area of Trogir, just a short walk from the town centre. The rooms were extremely clean and blended modern comfort with the charm of traditional Dalmatian architecture. Stayed twice! Liked the hotel so much the first stay, changed the last part of our trip to stay there again. The staff is friendly and helpful, we were allowed to store our very large bike bags in an extra room and had a key to access them. Totally recommend!

I arrived at 9 o’clock in the evening but the team were helpful and happy to provide a light supper which was most welcome! The courtyard is charming and a charming environment to relax with your meal or drinks. Thanks for a great stay!

Extremely loud at night. People partying until 4 am (and this was at the end of the season )below us. The rooms are very old and sparse . The waitress at lunch could not have been more indifferent-hard to get more coffee. Avoid the breakfast ravioli-cold and barely cooked. (I was expecting something like blintzes) The mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean

Nice but noisy room It is really well situated hotel, it looks really nice, restaurant is good and employees are friendly and helpfull. But the rooms isn't the most comfy, the a/c is making a lot of noise you can't sleep with it on and the fridge in the room as well is making a lot of noise.

A wonderful Hotel! We loved our stay and enjoyed the owners hospitality! The hotel room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! The breakfast buffet had so much to choose from, everything was so delicious! We hope to return there again in the future!

Staff were friendly. The facilities were very old and tired and outdated. but it worked well for a one night stay with a 5minute drive to the airport for early morning flights. Would stay again to be close to the airport but not a vacation stay.

Hotel Rotondo was such a lovely experience! The booking team answered our emails fastly and they even offered us a discount. Everything in the hotel was clean and tidy. There is a parking place for each room, the rooms are well climatized/heated, the high windows can be open automatically if one cannot reach them, the TV is big and modern, the lights in the room were perfect. Check in late and left early the next morning. Staff was very nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. We had a situation with mosquitoes in the room that we should have addressed it right away. So, if you’re planning to stay in this hotel, check the room for those little blood suckers.

The staff were very good in every way possible . My only complaint is that the hotel is a little tired what was acceptable in the 70.s is not acceptable now Example I had 2 rooms 204 and then the last stay was 203 , in doth the sink unit had need attention as it had been botched the bathroom was an area of danger very slippery tiles if the owners invested a little money that would have a good unit

Decent enough hotel Decent enough hotel however it’s just that. It’s close to the Togir old town and a short drive to airport. No iron or tea & coffee; poor area was abysmal and breakfast was ok at best.

just my opinion but in no way is this a four star hotel .clean ,decent sized room and that is where the positive comments come to an end .not sure where the photos of the food were taken in some of theses reviews but our food was a million miles away from them .dinner was joke ,luke warm what looked like left overs ,plenty of chips ...group of us so they were obviously aware of the numbers to expect...

Loved staying here, very friendly ,warm staff , very accommodating. Food was very tasty with a good and varied choice, the pastries in particular were amazing!!!! The only downside was the en suite bathroom, needs a bit of attention to detail

Not 4*. 3 at the most. Room is ok, but not 193$ per night. Very weird bathroom layout. Amenities are lacking. Bed wasn’t great either .

Great hotel We arrived at 10am with the aim of dropping our bags as it was not check in time yet. We were told the room was free so was able to check in and rest a while before we went out. The hotel room is pretty basic but perfect for what we needed. Beds are comfy. But only one pillow I’m sure if we had asked we could have had another. Air con is not great ( unless we were operating it wrong...

I stayed there for three weeks, every single morning they looked after me, fresh towels every day, bed was nicely made every morning, the owners were extremely pleasant people, they were there to help and provide service whenever u need it, in front of the rooms beautiful garden. Also the location is very very good everything is close by these rooms. Would recommend to everyone!

Very nice location if you are traveling for work is close to the shipyards and for tourism as well as its on the marina. The negative is that there is no reception, although there are phone numbers given to you to contact if something is needed, at least the phones are monitored. This is a lovely place to stay and great views from the balcony over to the Old Town and marina. The restaurant attached to the hotel was just fabulous - great food with a lovely relaxed ambiance and surrounded with artworks. Well worth a visit.

A nice hotel, without an elevator, located near the marina. The room was clean, decorated with whatever you'd find at a flea market, comfortable bedding, but no welcome tray. Breakfast was very basic, as if it were charged per person; once empty, nothing was replenished, you had to order coffee, which arrived late, and on top of that, the croissants and marble cake weren't cooked. Fabulous small guest house . Room 7 is the best up the stairs to 2nd floor (- amazing view from the balcony overlooking the old town . Trogir is a really nice hop off point for the airport. The hotel faces the old town with splendid views from the front. I liked having the windows open and listening to the bustle below and the intermittent peels of bells from the old town which is just a short walk away. Very clean, splendid breakfast and they organized a taxi for me.

A lot of stairs, and I couldn't figure out how to turn off the bathroom light, but otherwise a great stay.

I had a lovely experience staying at Palace Del Rossi! Tin was friendly and helpful, and I was blown away by the size of the room! And the spacious bathroom. A clean, unspectacular place 10 minutes from a beach in proximity to the historic port town of Trogir. Stayed there for 1 night. All was as expected. I was missing a restaurant in the area, no option for lunch or dinner nearby (at least in Oct). There is a supermarket on the way to the beach. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff helpful. Nice views from sea-side balcony. Not more to say. 😊

Fantastic location right on the waterfront ! Lovely small hotel , very friendly and dedicated staff, clean rooms , everything within walking distance - eateries , local shops, local fruit market . If you are flying into Split airport , local bus ride takes only 10 minutes and costs 2.5 euro and Trogir bus station is 5 minutes walk away from Concordia. Perfect hotel for my visit to Trogir. Nice room with double bed, en suite shower - not a large room and my room didn’t have a view but neither of these things are important to me, the room was clean and perfectly adequate since I’m only in the room to sleep. A very nice small no frills hotel in a wonderful location. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive and nothing, even our arrival at 1:00 am, was too much trouble. Our room / suite overlooked the waterfront and had everything we needed. No hesitation in recommending it to anyone thinking of visiting Trogir.

Hotel is situated right on the harbour front which is a lovely place to wander along day and evening. We stopped here a couple of times, just for drinks as they were reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the views of the harbour are fabulous! Some of the bars along the front are pricy, but this is definitely worth popping into.

The hotel is right by the castle on the quay side of the old city, so it is an excellent location for exploring the old city and for crossing the bridge to the island beyond the old city. The room has a small seperate sitting area with a great view. Breakfast was okay. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

Great bar ,we found it the cheapest in Trogir 25k for a large beer ,it is cash only but most places are ,if you like Mowtown /60/70s music this is the bar for you ,lovely staff and just a great place to relax and watch the world go by ,enjoy .

Everything was great, except Owner/caretaker, Whoever lived downstairs smoked like a chimney. Stunk up the place upstairs where we were staying. Because of that I would not come back.

We just stayed for one night and had no idea what to expect. We were greeted by Maria who was extremely kind and wonderful. The area of Trogir is busy but not crazy. The room was very clean and easy to find through the windy alley ways of the neighborhood. Loved it wish we stayed another night!

Great place to stay in Trogir Maria met me at the door and showed me everything. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. AC kept it nice and cool. Location was great, and Trogir is amazing. So many restaurants. So glad I landed here, and wish I had another night!

Nice clean property. Well organised, great hosts. However, Please do something about the smoke in the stairwell. We had to block the door with blankets. The worst time seemed to be about 8-10pm maybe once the lower apartments shut their windows. Our appartment pink did not smell inside, just the smoke through the door. I did not want to expose my 13 year old daughter to this, and we should all be well...

Apartament Medena The cleaning was forgotten, we had to remind the reception and we also had to ask for towels and refilling toilet paper and soap. The apartments were okay but around there were a lot of closed and abandoned buildings, it felt like they had their glory days 10 years ago at least.

We did not enjoy our stay. The apartment smelled like a butcher and was very dirty when we received the apartment. We got a new apartment because we said so ourselves. It was also dirty and smelled. No internet in the rooms. There were only two chairs out on the balcony even though there were 4. Overall not happy with the whole stay.

Great holiday The trip was amazing and i would recommend this place to family and friends. Location was awesome and staff where freindly and helpful. Cannot wait to go back some day in the future. Croation people are great 👍

Some of the staff at the hotel next door who work with the apartments were not service minded and were rude. Tried to eat a meal at the restaurant by the beach, but were disturbed by 5-10 wasps swarming around us and the food. It was impossible to eat anything, as you were almost "attacked" by the wasps. And no sympathy from the staff they just stood there laughing, especially an employee named Tony...

Clean and spacious rooms. All rooms have air conditioning. The bathrooms and toilets are spacious and very clean.

Great Stay in Seget! We had a great stay! The room was large, the AC was cold, the balcony was huge! Great location as we could walk to fabulous restaurants, Trogir, and was super close to the airport for our early departure from Split. Note - it was quiet during the week, but all the boats came in on Friday afternoon so the marina got busy. Not sure if that's normal every week, but it's what happened...

The rooms are clean and with air conditioning. The kitchen is relatively small but equipped. The location is in a great spot. It is about 300 meters to the town and about 100 meters to the bus or boat stop. The main bus station is a short distance away. The city beach is also relatively close. Definitely recommend.

I'm pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very cheap compared to the rest of Trogir. The highlight, of course, is the view, which has tied me to the balcony for a few hours every day. Amazing place absolutely loved Apartments Gea! Only issue was AC not working. Everything else was fabulous and the host made it so easy to get there and we loved the area.

Great spot for a quick overnight before an early flight. Easy access to Old Town for all the fun while still being quiet and super easy to get to an airport transfer from. Host was responsive and pleasant.
