VUNI PALACE LUXURY RESORT & Beach Club & Casino

The resort was OK, hotel room was pathetic.
The tv was 30years old & the hair-dryer was even older.
They had a safe but had to pay daily to use it, room was cleaned once out of the 4days we were there, only reason it was cleaned was because we complained.

If anything this hotel should be down graded from 5 to 2 star, the hotel has two types of rooms 1 is the executive rooms and the other rooms are just old and smells of cigarettes. The staff are rude and there are no facilities for kids, the hotel is based on gambling casino and not for families. The bath rooms are old and dirty, there was fresh silicone on the bath area where they siliconed over somebody’s hair so you can’t even wipe it off. If your not a gambler and regardless accept Vuni palace to take your hard earns cash and not deliver a service in return, then this is the hotel for you and your family. Also I must add the none executive rooms have tv’s in them that are at least 30 years old, my grand mother had one in the days. Advice to all and believe me I have traveled the world, I have seen nothing like it rated at a 5* hotel do not go to Vuni palace hotel, rathe pay for a local B&B it’s going to be much cheaper and definitely much cleaner. It is also 4 to 1 male dominated due to the casino, once they have lost their money in the casino they spend the rest of their days sitting around the pool making families uncomfortable, you can complain but who cares.

Maybe it was a good hotel but years, years ago.
Microscopic shower in the bathroom. Lots off broken elements, e.g. cabinets, toilet paper holders in the room.
Waiters, for whom English is black magic.
Food very monotonous, nearly everyday the same meals. One variant of chicken, fish and lamb everyday 😴 Just 4 or 5 types of fruit.
Location - The neighborhood looks like someone bombed it a few months ago. Rubbish everywhere, holes in sidewalks, no lighting.
Generally I do not recommend!

It is quite shocking that this is advertised as a 5 star hotel. Where do I begin? When was the last time you saw a cathode ray tube tv? Yes, they're in many of the rooms here, complete with snowstorm level of clarity. We (along with many others) had to REQUEST a bedside lamp, which when it arrived had a damaged lampshade and faulty wiring. Never achieved anything better than lukewarm water in the bathroom. Two euros a day to use the safe. Canteen level food. Dreadful, Dreadful, Dreadful. AVOID.
