For value for money this is an excellent large hotel in a lovely mountain setting. The bedroom was very large with a comfortable Bed, good lighting etc. The Hitel in areas in need if some refurbishment but for overall value its a good choice.

Such a beautiful hotel the nature around it is so beautiful and peaceful. I love how historic the hotel is.

Forest Park Hotel is like a time capsule, taking you back decades! It is a living museum with all its interesting history on the walls. A brandy sour is a must. In desperate need of renovation but I hope its charm remains when it’s done. Thank you Forest Park & hope to see you again soon.

Me and my friends were out here for 2 nights. We found in the toilet cupboard smashed wood that made holes and we found dirt in them, we obviously didn't put anything in there. Then I had my other friends tell me that their mattress was filled with dust and hair. The doorknobs barely worked, we had to put a nightstand to properly close and some keys opened other rooms. The hotel is very large, traditionally furnished , with a very steep incline to park the car to go to reception. You can park on a slip road below the hotel There are two floors but no lift. Such a charming hotel in the mountains. I really liked the ambience of the place and the fact that it has its old character. The room we were given it must have been one of the old rooms because it had old furniture in it but the bathroom was fully renovated. The bath is a bit on the small side but it's nice. What they had and I was impressed, is the blue light with the sensor which is really practical...

The hotel is quite old, and while the room had air-conditioning and a nice shower, there wasn’t really anything special about it. The breakfast was limited and didn’t offer much variety, which was disappointing. I also feel the hotel is overpriced for what it provides. However, the view was very nice and probably the best part of the stay.

We had a lovely weekend at New Helvetia in Platres. The hotel is set in the woods with a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing walks into the village. The restaurant is charming and cozy, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would visit again in winter.

In Platres there are not many places open to eat in the evening in September but we got a decent meal here with a friendly helpful waiter who was happy for us to order food early but specify a time we’d like the food to arrive, which was most accommodating. We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by for refreshing smoothies. The smoothie was made from local fruits and was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation. We had a little chat with lovely manager Chara, she was so sweet and gave us some plums from their garden to go. Highly recommend this place!

We wanted a budget friendly place to use as our base camp as we would be out hiking the natural trails and this small place was recommended to us. It is family owned and operated, super friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are clean and have all the little amenities like a/c, tv, kettle, small fridge and hair dryer. Nice and spacious room, large bed, the owner very helpful and friendly, vey nice mountain view from the balcony, excellent location with hiking trails near by, only 10 min drive from Troodos.

Our experience at the hotel was great! Nice clean rooms and nice breakfast. We asked for soup at the evening and they made it specially for us. Stefano was very helpful and welcoming.

Small, family run hotel situated in the heart of the forest. The hotel was really clean and the people who own it are extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast and the environment id extremely cosy.

Stayed for a week hiking / exploring around Troodos. Ideal location, very near the 2 Platres waterfalls. Very quiet hotel, with good breakfast.

Absolutely charming hotel up in the mountains in a beautiful village. Having a steam room and hot tub amongst the trees of the forest took the whole experience to the next level. Andrea’s the manager there was so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

This is a boutique hotel situated in a quiet location in a pine forest above a small mountain village. I had an excellent meal and a comfortable bed. Internal stairs, so not suitable for disabled customers.

We stopped by at this hidden gem with some friends that know the village well. The hotel is lovely, the food , exceptional!! What a great find, the chef is so good , the hotel is so Nicky laid out and am impressed by the herb and vegetable garden for the kitchen! Highly recommend you searching this hidden gem out.

After several positive recommendations, specifically for the food, finally we spent a weekend with a good bunch of friends. Our initial plan was to go for a tour on Sunday and have lunch elsewhere. The extremely attending Manager and later in the day the Owners made the atmosphere so welcoming and friendly that for two days we only left the hotel to stretch a bit.
