We arrived late, or rather early the next day, and there was one staff at the front door who let us into our room. The room was very clean, quite and comfortable. The breakfast was great with fresh bread, milk, cheese, sausages, etc. exactly as shown in the hotels picture! Great value for money!

When we arrived, we were shocked by the wellness hotel, and then we had to pay extra for entry to the wellness area. The water was very cold and definitely not 28 degrees, and every employee said something different. The wellness area for 4 hours cost 13 euros per person. Good to stay a night in little historic city centre. Restaurant is attached on serving until 21.30 hrs. 10% discount at reception instead of online booking.

We were here just in the hotel restaurant for dinner twice so assesing just the meal and restaurant service. The overall experience was good, no issues. We had steaks, salads, schnitzels and drinks. We were satisfied, the portions were reasonable. This restaurant has slightly affordable service and lower prices, thus making it busier during dinner.

We ate only in the restaurant. Were in transit to Prague. The food was perfect! very friendly staff! Typical dishes of the country, really highly recommended!

The rooms are totally forgetable, though you get all what is expected. Kind of cheapy equipment, but rooms are larger than currently seen. Noisy outside, so difficult to open the window. The Walter in the restaurant gets you wine without asking what wine you like, bottle or glass. This was really strange. On the other hand, the chodce for breakfast is pleasant.

The accommodation was very nice, but we had to stay on the top floor and it was very hot.

For my needs I used this hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. Otherwise I was out all day. My main issue with this hotel is the lack of air conditioning. I arrived and it was 32C outside with only a flimsy fan that I had placed so close to me while I in bed you might think I was wearing it like clothing. So if plan to stay here and it’s going to be super warm I would look for other options...

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The people at the desk were super helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. It was a great place to stay.

Very nice hotel next to a lake, clean, the staff was very nice, helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was also fine, clean, coffee, tea prepared. The room was not big and what was missing in the heat was air conditioning. Overall a good place, at a realistic price and it is also important that here you did not have to pay in advance, but upon departure.

The breakfast was nice. The hotel was right opposite the airport, which was great for us to take a good rest after a long flight.

The hotel service is very good, the breakfast is rich, the front desk and service staff are friendly and kind. The hotel is very close to the Black Tower and the fountain. There are also shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient.

The room is large, has a balcony, and is very quiet. I heard that you can order spa services, but I haven't tried it. The morning buffet starts at 7 o'clock. The food is pretty good, and the surrounding supermarkets are convenient. You can go shopping and come back to eat.

Good, but not as in the site presentation. Location close to the old town as a major plus. Room clean and spacious, bathroom with less facilities than expected. Room refrigerator. Breakfast very poor, no fruits, just cheese and meats (salami and ham), staff's choice ready on a small plate. Coffee was excellent and at will.

The promised ***+ is more then the reality. The breakfast was poor the Orange Juice was watered, the heating was terrible. I had to air release it. Thanks to official swiss army knife.

My first overnight stay of my long discovery journey in the Czech Republic started here. What a great hotel this is! The authentic appearance immediately made me feel welcome. The receptionist was very attentive and helpful. The room was neat, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was very good and extensive. The hotel is also well-suited for dining with excellent service. We had been looking forward to coming to Hotel Budweis and reliving our honeymoon. we had, 11 months in advance, asked the hotel if we could have the same room as we had on our honeymoon, with the beautiful view and beautiful large windows where you could sit on the windowsill and look out at the river and the church. I regularly go to this hotel for business reasons. It's definitely past its best. The carpet is dirty and unkempt. It smells musty. The employees at breakfast are unmotivated. The chairs are worn and wobbly. Signs of decay and indifference can be seen everywhere. It's really very sad to see. The parking situation ist horrible. A very cozy, small, authentic hotel. We were unfortunately only here for a night, but felt very welcome and comfortable here. The room was a good size for the two of us, with a massive bed. Impeccably clean and comfortable. Steps from everything and a good value. The only thing to note was that our room had the sleeping area upstairs and a fair distance from the toilet which made going in the night difficult.

Apartments turned hotel with spacious rooms and convenient location. The room was clean and sufficiently equipped. There is a nice bath-tub, but the problem is, the small glass screen that is supposed to shield the water from the bathroom floor doesn’t work at all if you simply stand in the tub and take a shower, the water would easily flood the bathroom floor and make a very unpleasant experience...

Perfectly located in the city center, less than 10 minutes walking distance from the magnificent historical main square and some 30 minutes from the coaches and train stations. Restaurant review: This place has both a butique hotel, as well as a restaurant. This review is about the restaurant. Overall, the level nearly reaches a top fine dining restaurant, but less formal. We tried many courses, all were outstanding (recommended: the rabbit as a starter, main course: the deer and the veal cheak). They even prepared an extra simple meal for our daughter. The hotel is said to be a hundred years old. The lobby is old, but the rooms are well maintained. However, you can see that the hotel is quite old. The facilities and decoration are all in the style of the previous generation. It is OK for a night. Downstairs is the central square, with a lot of food and it is quite lively.

The room I got had nothing to do with the picture on the website. Very few and simple furniture, no decoration… feels really cold

The location of the hotel is very good! The room is spacious and the bedding is clean. However, the decoration and facilities of the hotel are very simple. The breakfast is average. The waiter is not enthusiastic enough and does not greet.

Booked the hotel and arrived later than expected…about 7:15 pm. This is a one person “3” star hotel and this person leaves between 8:30 and 9 pm. You have to pull onto curb to unload luggage and parking is several blocks away. The hotel person made a pont of saying 3-star hotels don’t have to have someone there during the night, but when pressed said the owner lived there and could be reached...

The room was actually very cozy, but the bathroom wasn't very clean and the hairdryer was grimy. Be careful, for over €100 a night I expect more. The minibar costs extra, which I don't think is cool. However, the service was very good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel was conveniently located, clean, and staff was helpful and friendly. Having a buffet breakfast made and easy and quick start to our day. Room was clean and had nice little amenities. Hotel was an easy flat 15-20 walk from the bus and train stations. The town square was around the corner and also an easy quick walk.

Pleasant hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast, but with minor shortcomings (e.g. bedside table drawer not tidy - old paper, shower handle leaking, some kind of shelf/cabinet in the toilet/bathroom would be welcome, windows not the best... you can tell the age of the hotel...). Well, anyway, this may be my choice again on my next visit to ČB.

Located just a few steps from the central square, this hotel was great value. Everything was very good, with the only slight negative being initially overcharged for parking two motorcycles. We’d happily visit again!

Good experience for our needs. We rested for a couple of days on our way to Spain by car. The owner was very nice and helpful in showing us everything.
