Small, charming hotel in a historic building, located in a quiet area, in a pedestrian area Krajinska. There is a restaurant and small meeting room.

Location: Ceske Budejovice, 5 km from the airport.

Consists of one 3-storey building.

Only 10 rooms.

On the hotel territory: Parking for a fee (reservation is needed), restaurant / pizzeria, bar, Luggage storage, Fax/Photocopying, meeting room for 20 persons

Good, but not as in the site presentation. Location close to the old town as a major plus. Room clean and spacious, bathroom with less facilities than expected. Room refrigerator. Breakfast very poor, no fruits, just cheese and meats (salami and ham), staff's choice ready on a small plate. Coffee was excellent and at will.

we had a totally pleasant stay. Total nice staff .... although we language not sprechen.Hotel comfort really good. Location great right on the pedestrian street in the old town. We found it really nice fit everything. Holidays to decelerate ..... Breakfast is fully in order

Good: Large rooms, friendly staff and very helpful too. Excellent location.

Bad: Wifi is a bit hit-and-miss and the rooms are very hot, even with the window wide open.

comfortable lodging; central; basic breakfast in tiny corner. Perfect for city visit or as central base for regional exploration. Good variety of restaurants, bars; nice city with lots of culture and activities, equally an important river to be explored. reception not available until 7:45, no problem for most, but an issue for early travelers.

The promised ***+ is more then the reality. The breakfast was poor the Orange Juice was watered, the heating was terrible. I had to air release it. Thanks to official swiss army knife.

My first overnight stay of my long discovery journey in the Czech Republic started here. What a great hotel this is! The authentic appearance immediately made me feel welcome. The receptionist was very attentive and helpful. The room was neat, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was very good and extensive. The hotel is also well-suited for dining with excellent service. All in all, worth 5 stars!

We had been looking forward to coming to Hotel Budweis and reliving our honeymoon. we had, 11 months in advance, asked the hotel if we could have the same room as we had on our honeymoon, with the beautiful view and beautiful large windows where you could sit on the windowsill and look out at the river and the church. They confirmed this in June 2023 and wrote to us that they have booked that room for us. So we were somewhat disappointed when we get to the hotel after a 12 hour drive and find out they have given us another room. The receptionist tells us that they have given us a better room, but only after we point out that we have booked a different room than the one we have been given. But that was not what we experienced, the room was fine. but we could not see the view unless we stood in the smaller windows. The room we had booked has a bathtub, the room we got was without a bathtub. and we didn't have cold water in the tap. although we mentioned it several times, it was not done during our stay. We wrote an email to the hotel that we were sorry we hadn't got the booked room, but their reply was a standard reply that we had got a room in the same style and cathegory as the desired room, just on a different floor . We do not feel that our disappointment with our experience was heard. We are aware that the hotel has an operation that must be integrated into a higher unit. But we do not feel that Hotel Budweis handled our experience properly.

I regularly go to this hotel for business reasons. It's definitely past its best. The carpet is dirty and unkempt. It smells musty. The employees at breakfast are unmotivated. The chairs are worn and wobbly. Signs of decay and indifference can be seen everywhere. It's really very sad to see. The parking situation ist horrible. Current it is one of the most popular hotels due to the location. I expect that this hotel will soon be replaced by a better one. At least by me and my colleagues of the company.

A beautiful building, very photogenic. In a great location, close to the main square and all the pubs, restaurants, coffee houses etc.
The interior after sensitive renovation is very stylish, nice decorated and very clean.
Rooms are spacious, modern decorated, various lights, enough sockets, big flat TV, fridge, safe.
There is a bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom.
All the staff is very kind and helpful.
There is an amazing restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast was great.

We are all-around-the-world travelers and we must say, that this hotel has absolutely perfect staff - receptionists and technician, too. Even we had a small problem with heating, they solved it very fast. Our room was beautiful, seemed like new and it was excelent clean.
Thank you for this pleasant stay, we will be glad to return.
