Hotel Záviš z Falkenštejna in Hluboka Nad Vltavou

Really bad. We had two dishes in a party of 10 that simply did not taste good on the first bite. The meat and sauce were terribly off. When we politely asked for our money back the waiter was very nice and immediately returned our money for the food. Then someone from the resteraunt came out and began yelling at my wife and mother-n-law, who are both Czech. While they stayed calm, they continued to explain it simply tasted off and could not be eaten. The person then became very animated and angry and suggested to my wife that we did not know what we were talking about. While we stayed calm, he continued to berate my wife, even to the point of yelling. It was embarrassing to say the least. Other customers in the resteraunt were there watching all of this. In the end, we gave the 255 krones the waiter had given us back. We don't want their money if we are going to be treated like that. They can have it. When were you trained to treat PAYING customers like that??? In all my years of travelling to resteraunts around the world, I've never encountered such rude behavior. THIS WAS FIRST! If I could give a 0, I would.

The restaurant is serving old food. We ordered a simple chicken wings. It was the worst I ever had. It felt like it was cooked 2 days ago and was reheated.
