Good location, room was a little small and to warm. No fridge to store your food or drinks for your hike, only one meny for dinner

We did not sleep there but did guided snowshoeing. Harry was very friendly and drove the tour with passion and knowledge. We loved the 3 hours we spent together! The soup served there after was excellent. Kiitos Harry and happy walking in beautiful Lapland !

We came here as part of an Exodus trip called Winter Wilderness Experience. Great week and we tried several new experiences such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, quinzee building and much more. Aldo a base to visit other experiences such as dog sledging and reindeer farm. Food is amazing as are all the staff

Basecamp is a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and remote, with fantastic staff, lovely food and comfy rooms. The frozen lake is so picturesque, we also walked to the frozen waterfall and to the mill too, which weren't far away through the forest. The guides that led our Exodus Family Wilderness Week were great, and really took care of us when the temperature hit -34C so we could still go outside...

This was a beautiful setting to stay for a week. The cabin was really cosy and the heated flooring was nice. It was an incredible place and you can ask them to knock and wake you if they see the northern lights, which is a really nice touch. The food was incredible and the staff really friendly. It was a really great base to enjoy the National park.

There are good and bad points to this place. we really liked the location. It’s a nice spot not far from the frozen lake and ski lifts and a short walk into the main village. Really peaceful and pretty surroundings. What we liked in our apartment- We really enjoyed having an open fire and the sauna was nice. We had access to sledges which was a great bonus and there was also an endless supply of wood...

Very cosy and nice small studio apartment with beatiful views down towards the lake (we had 2nd floor) Own fireplace with unlimited wood, sauna and balcony plus well equipped kitchenette. Clean and welcoming place, close walking to the Village but still really peaceful.

Very comfortable studio apartment - family of 4 stayed - one room but we all fitted. Bathroom large and good shower, hairdryer provided. Basic kitchen but ample for our needs. Free washing machine under building for laundry. Stayed in block Q. Definitely not ski in! Probably 300m walk to first possible point to put skis on and ski down to T bar lift. Gets a bit annoying by the end!

Very pleased with Aurinkorinne Apartments. Booked a studio through Crystal and found I was able to access the apartment from 12:35pm rather than wait until normal check in at 6pm. The apartment was very clean, spacious, well designed and well equipped. The key code entry was useful, saves remembering a key! There's a large drying cabinet as you walk in which is great for all your ski gear, plus plenty...

Absolutely brilliant apartments, clean and well equipped. As a family of 3 we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was plenty big enough. Drying cabinet was excellent and so was the sauna. We were in block c which was just at the bottom of the fist hill so an excellent location. To get to the village it was a walk up a small hill and then you could do the steps (70) up to the village, or take a longer...

Actually quite nice place to live while skiing, surprisingly at least as good as MastonAtio (not sure about spelling). Clean, quiet, pretty close to ski lift so skiing in/skiing out both possible.

Effective charging place, over 100 kWh, for electric car is missing. There is only 22 kWh place. Location is good.

Place to be for a skier The room was a great place for a skier, the slopes are just outside of the door! Simple but clean, very nice staff!

Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Great accommodation and centrally located. We stayed as a family in a 2 bedroom apartment and it came equipped with full kitchen, lovely seating area, double shower and sauna. The views from the apartment were amazing and with it being so central getting to all local amenities was very easy

The hotel/apartments were great, amazing location, fully equipped apartment... The only downside was the food, we stayed half board so had breakfast in the Colorado bar, the selection was very limited and they only had one 2 slice toaster which was very frustrating. The staff were also rude and very unhelpful. Dinner was in the piste restaurant, staff were very friendly and there was a kids play...

Ruka Finland was a great location, we went with Crystal Ski. Alleged transfer was 25 mins it took us well over an hour. Also had to wait at the airport as our coach was still being used by others waiting to get in to the airport. Very small airport and limited capacity with crystal bringing so many people in a small time frame put a strain on the airport. That said all the airport staff were very helpful...

First time going to Ruka/Finland, definitely plan on going every year.

Clean, enough kitchen essentials to see us through the week and cook for ourselves. Awesome location. Kids were happy we were right by the ice slide this year. Kitchen space is a bit snug but didn’t stop us in any way. We would definitely book again.

Beware apartments with hot tub. Hot tubs are prescribed to 35 Celsius temperature which is way too low, at least in winter time. There are no change to adjust temperature. Location perfect, service moderate and rooms are adequate enough. nearby construction gives early wakeup without extra cost at 7.00 am.

The noise from the adjacent hotel construction site was somewhat disturbing from 7am to 7pm, especially in the morning and evening.

Annual autumn trip We spent a week in Ruka with our dog. All services were close by and we could go to many places with our dog. We were on the 4th floor and the views were great!

Great location in the centre of Ruka village. You can access a supermarket and a (paid, not included) parking garage directly with the elevator of the apartment building.

Food is OK but service is very slow (took about an hour to receive my order). Luckily I did not have to pay because the buffet at the hotel was closed, but I would have been angry to pay those prices. The shrimp taco was ridiculously made of just 2 shrimps. The steak was good, but an hour is to much to wait.

Cozy hotel with a restaurant on the ground floor. Small playground for children in the backyard. Spa 3.5/5, water cool. So there are activities to do. Good holiday destination

Great staff, even though the dog wasn't noted in the booking, the matter was arranged and even free of charge.

Mid-range old hotel We visited on 7.9-8.9.2024. The hotel is old and does not meet the requirements of a four-star hotel. The corridors have carpet and the walls are old and in poor condition. There is only soap in the shower room. There is no shampoo, no fridge and no information. If you need something, tea, coffee, water, you have to go down to the first floor and buy it at the R-kiosk. The room...

Room was hot. No a/c. Food was good.

This is a good hotel for families visiting or solo travelling. All the amenities are close by and they have pub food in the hotel. The breakfast has good selection of foods.

This is the perfect place in Kuusamo. Very clean, comfortable beds, cozy and comfortable interior, quiet, very easy check in process and instructions, 200m from the bus stop, perfect stay!

Great place for budget travellers, a bit off the town centre but it is walkable distance! Breakfast & Sauna included! What a bargain.

Stayed here for 4 nights a lovely spot just outside Kussamo with everything you could need and breakfast included in price...clean and quiet with very helpful staff 😀

Awesome hotel/hostel. Great location....with a beautiful lake behind it, which is frozen over ATM Wicked sauna...which was well needed after our 5 day hike along the bear trail!

Good Check in was friendly and simple, room was clean. I had an early bus and left before breakfast but they delivered it to my room the night before for no extra charge and it was delicious!
