Overall, it was very good. It's right next to the highway, which is very convenient. The breakfast was decent, and the service was excellent. The rooms were also spacious.

The hotel is more than 1 km away from the highway entrance and exit. I stayed there in 2018. This time, the hotel was renovated in 2019, and the lobby is much more gorgeous! The hotel has a large free parking lot, which is recommended for people who drive to Beaune!

The hotel is a little far from the old town of Beaune, but it is not a problem for people traveling by car, and there is no parking fee. The hotel room is relatively large. There is a place similar to a food city opposite the hotel, with many restaurants, where you can eat at night.

Love the location ! Have a car park so it's very convenient, you can also walk around the city from the hotel. Rooms are not big, but clean and mattress are comfortable.

Just by the side of the highway. Easy access to Beaune center by car, not on foot though. Room is nicely designed and the bed is comfortable. Got pool and other facilities for children. A pleasant stay as a whole.

Hotel is quite lovely and in the center of Beaune. The many wine stores, restaurants and shops nearby makes walking around the hotel area fun. City feels safe.

Never Disappoints – A Gem in the Heart of Beaune We’ve stayed at the Cep many times and it never lets us down. The welcome is always so friendly, the location couldn’t be better right in the heart of Beaune, and having secure parking is a real bonus. The rooms are always comfortable, which makes it feel like coming back to a favourite place.

Decor has seen better days - I believe faded grandeur is the term. We were apparently given an upgraded room, which begs the question what from. Hotel is dark and dingy inside. However plus points are its centrality, reserved spaces outside for drop-offs and pick-ups, valet parking (extra, and needs to be pre-booked) and excellent breakfasts (EUR25/person).

Such a wonderful hotel conveniently located in the middle of the historic area of Beaune. Lots of dining choices nearby and easy to get out of the town to go exploring nearby vineyards. We used the parking lot and never had an issue getting the car out.

Hotel Le Cep is a beautiful modernized hotel with classic, old world charm. I found the staff to be highly professional as well as genuinely engaging and personable. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs and offer their assistance. I agree with other reviews….be sure not to miss breakfast in the courtyard! Outdated hotel, parking advertised in the booking confirmation turned out to be unavailable. The location in the center of town was nice, though the room was very small.

It was a delight. Every staff member interaction was polite and efficient. The bar lounge area is so cosy and the wood burning fireplace was earm and inviting while we dealt with late november weather.

Hand on heart, the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. A credit to the staff and owners. The service was impeccable, particularly from Matthieu in the bar, the atmosphere that was created in the sitting area. All future hotel stays will be judged by me against the Cedre Beaune.

The Bona Cedars Hotel & Spa is one of the best hotels in the area, with exquisite gardens, historic buildings, and fairly well-equipped rooms. We loved our time at Cedre. Hotel was beautiful, well-appointed, and service was excellent. Reverent out of their way to ensure your experience was excellent. Breakfast was good. We rented e-bikes from the hotel to ride the wine trails, loved the library / fireplace area. Location is walkable to downtown without being in the middle the city. We look forward to coming back!

Parking was great and easy walking into the old town.

This is the second time we stayed here and again it didn’t disappoint. It’s convenient literally just off the motorway and when you arrive it’s so peaceful, spotlessly clean and just had a lovely vibe. I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thanks for a great stay and what a beautiful town Beaune is just a short walk and it’s stunning.

Best thing about the property is its close proximity to the motorway. Average hotel, unhelpful & miserable staff. Overpriced restaurant.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here, hotel was easy to find and had ample safe parking. The room was super clear and comfy, a nice bar where you could sit outside it was perfect for an overnight stay.

The hotel is wonderful - small and friendly, great location and excellent service. The American Bar is a lovely place for a pre/post dinner drink. The restaurant we love, classic French food, beautifully done but relaxed and informal. The wine list is about 3 inches thick and the choice incredible.

We stayed for two nights and could not think of a way the stay could have been improved (maybe sunshine?). The hotel team were so kind and generous with our family, and we didn’t want to eat anywhere else after breakfast on site or roast chicken at the Bistro for dinner. If you have the ability to stay here I can’t recommend it enough.

Stayed at Hôtel Mercure Beaune Centre for a business trip. Clean, well-located, and efficient overall. The room is comfortable and practical, though more functional than stylish. Service is polite but not particularly memorable. A reliable choice for short stays, but not a destination if you’re looking for character or a premium feel.

We have had a fantastic stay at Mecure Beaune. The staff are friendly and helpful with all requests to make our stay enjoyable and stress free as our stopover as we head to the south of France. The suite can accommodate two adults and two children. The bathroom is not designed properly, there is no door, and water easily flows everywhere. Really liked this Ibis for the location (almost in the historic centre) and the welcome. Also, good shower with lovely architectural feature of a row of three opaque glass bricks in the wall of the shower giving you natural light in the shower cubicle. Our little group was travelling on motorcycles and the parking in the garage was perfect. The hotel is a short walk to the town. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed out stay. The superior rooms had more space but there was insufficient wardrobe space for four nights. The standard rooms had better storage.

Wonderful and spacious hotel right by the Tourist office and walking distance to the main shopping area. Wide selection of teas available 24/7 at the dining area. Buffet breakfast is delicious and coffee is good.

There is no breakfast in Ctrip, but the hotel has free breakfast and afternoon tea. There is an underground parking lot for parking. I stayed for three nights and it was not bad.

Affordable price and beautiful environment

Compared to Spain, this price in France is OK. But I still think it's a bit expensive. Opposite is an exhibition hall, which is quite beautiful when you look through the window. Breakfast is mainly French standard, baguette, drinks, milk, etc.

Beautiful property, peaceful, great location to visit Beaune and the vineyards around. Bedroom was smaller than expected and quite dark, so this was a little disappointing. The area around the swimming pool needs a little bit of maintenance. With that said, it was overall a great stay.

Everything was great. Room was very spacious/nice shower. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Some reviews commented about the stairs but it’s an old building and the stone stairs are beautiful. Just pack light and be prepared to carry your bag up the stairway.

This hotel was outstanding. It is an old building, so there are no elevators. The room was lovely, a large size, and very comfortable. We appreciated the daily water bottles in the room and the large towels. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is on a quiet side street, but an easy walk to the town center, as well as the station. I would definitely stay here again.

We are family traveling through Europe and often stay at Ibis hotels. The budget hotels are very basic. This one without a lift but only 2 floors of stairs. It was clean, kind staff, small and cozy and a great price for 6 people. Parking was large, secure and safe. Near the motorway. Property was old and all areas were cramped. Room was only just big enough for a double bed with not much room on each side. Very small room indeed. On the plus side - the shower was good.

This very charming hotel is located in a very good neighbourhood, close to bakeries, a grocery store as well as being close to the town centre, wine and mustard tasting and parjs. The hotel is close to the train station and roads to other areas. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Our second stay here in 8 days. We keep coming back as its the perfect place to break our journey - very comfortable beds, easy and cheap on street parking just a few paces away, lovely town with lots of restaurants to choose from.

Loved the location and character of Hotel Athenor. Yes the rooms are a bit awkward but its a very old bldg and full of charm. Our only quibble was they do not provide or even sell morning coffee unless you pay for a full breakfast. My wife and I dont typically eat breakfast so we had to walk a block or two each morning to find take out coffee. Still, we loved Beaune and all it had to offer.

Modernity in Beaune A wonderful stay in the Burgandy region of France. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was beyond wonderful. Our breakfast was quite well apportioned with eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and cheese, sweet breads and excellent coffee.

Loved this hotel! Rooms were adequate but still great value for money. There is a pool and a very small gym. Hotel also rents out bicycles for cycling around. Bonus point: the hotel will do laundry for you at €10 per bag with a next day return service. We got it back at breakfast the next day. My clothes were nicely washed and folded!

This property is ideally located just on the outskirts of Beaune and you can easily walk to downtown for an excellent choice of restaurants and stores. Your are also very close to many wineries. The room was very nice and clean, with great service from all staff. The pool, spa and breakfast exceeded our expectations. This is hotel was great!!!
