We booked a superior twin which was actually two rooms which could have slept 4. 2 in large singles and 2 on a double sofa bed. The rooms were functional and basic. Our second stay here in 8 days. We keep coming back as its the perfect place to break our journey - very comfortable beds, easy and cheap on street parking just a few paces away, lovely town with lots of restaurants to choose from.

Loved the location and character of Hotel Athenor. Yes the rooms are a bit awkward but its a very old bldg and full of charm. Our only quibble was they do not provide or even sell morning coffee unless you pay for a full breakfast. My wife and I dont typically eat breakfast so we had to walk a block or two each morning to find take out coffee. Still, we loved Beaune and all it had to offer.

Convenient to sights, dining and shopping within Beaune. Evening reception staff was really helpful. Good point to stay in the region.

Were there last year and will say the time has been still nothing has changed except breakfast that wasn’t ok. I think this was the last stay at this hotel.

Modernity in Beaune A wonderful stay in the Burgandy region of France. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was beyond wonderful. Our breakfast was quite well apportioned with eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and cheese, sweet breads and excellent coffee.

Loved this hotel! Rooms were adequate but still great value for money. There is a pool and a very small gym. Hotel also rents out bicycles for cycling around. Bonus point: the hotel will do laundry for you at €10 per bag with a next day return service. We got it back at breakfast the next day. My clothes were nicely washed and folded!

This property is ideally located just on the outskirts of Beaune and you can easily walk to downtown for an excellent choice of restaurants and stores. Your are also very close to many wineries. The room was very nice and clean, with great service from all staff. The pool, spa and breakfast exceeded our expectations. This is hotel was great!!!

Lovely hotel! The location is convenient, right by the train station and a mere 10 mn walk to downtown. The renovation is nice, rooms are comfortable and have charm. The staff was very helpful, cheerful and competent.

Everything is fine, just a bit disappointed that the machine for water drinks and coffee doesn’t work and there is no place open to buy a bottle of water

A small but sufficient room with a capsule bathroom. It was clean, well decorated and comfortable, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the continental buffet breakfast was enjoyable.

Easy walk to the old downtown if you want to save money. The whole area is very safe so you can arrive as late as you want. Only on my way out I used an uber. I don’t think there’s a lot. Also just buses by the hour if you don’t want to walk.

It's a nice little hotel, good for the one night stay I used it for. The only comment I'd make is that charging 4€ for the carpark when there's space in the property feels a bit off. It could be included in the price of the room.

A difficult review to make because there are positives and negatives which do not relate to one another. The hotel was scrupulously clean, well decorated and tidy but somehow it just seemed to “ miss it”. Space had been maximised to allow for a good number of guests with the net result that the rooms were small and compact. Great place to stop just out of town

The food: not much choices, cold eggs, no ready made oatmeal. Luck of elevator for people after 70 was really not easy to get to 4th floor. Poor internet service

Perfect location and great service from the front desk. Charming old building with history, which does mean floors are creaky and noise travels. We were woken early from neighbouring bedrooms but that was to be expected in an old building like this.

This hotel was outstanding. It is an old building, so there are no elevators. The room was lovely, a large size, and very comfortable. We appreciated the daily water bottles in the room and the large towels. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is on a quiet side street, but an easy walk to the town center, as well as the station. I would definitely stay here again.

the place is a little tough to find at first but is a nice little place to stay. They don't have a fridge in the room but the room was very clean. parking is in the hotel and seems to be secure, but charges 7 euros per night. We stopped at this lovely hotel for one night, en route home to the UK from Sardinia. We primarily chose it because it had secure parking, but every thing about this hotel was fabulous. It was a good stay with a warm welcome by an individual (and named) reservation in the garage for the car. Gluten-free breakfast was possible!!! Dogs are allowed. Rooms are poorly soundproofed, but that is okay for a night as a stop on the way south.

Well, what a very warm welcome indeed! Such a warm welcome by the host after a long day driving was just the best way to end the day. The hotel was better than expected! The room itself was lovely. Very clean , lovely bed linen, comfortable bed. The family rooms were however right on the street and so were noisy until the bars closed and all the other guests had banged the door as they came in. It felt like some rooms were finished and others were still under construction so felt a bit like navigating a building site to get to our room. Breakfast was lovely .

Spent two nights here in December. Just a few meters off of the Carnot Square, the La Central Boutique Hotel was the perfect location to see everything you want to see in Beaune! And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Beaune!

The room was small, no airplanes, just like a motel, breakfast was just bread, bacon and eggs, lots of drinks, it didn't feel economical to stay here. Prices in Europe are so high, there is nothing to eat around the hotel, only a Subway.

I knew that maybe there would be nobody at the reception desk anymore. But it appeared to be extremely complicated to obtain an entrycode for the gate. So we were standing for the gate with our car not knowing which code to use to enter with our car. Finally I found out that I neede to go by foot into the hotel, take a room code with my credit card and find an entry code for the parking lot on an invoice...

Very friendly receptionist at check-in and other staff during my stay. This was the second time that I stayed in this hotel and I can recommend it to others. I have used the breakfast buffet. There was not a takeaway breakfast available which I do not prefer anyway. The breakfast was OK for the price asked. If I go to Beaune again I will certainly stay again in this hotel.

A quiet and charming place central located in Beaune. A friendly and welcoming staff, where guests were appreciated and catered for. A well sheltered private parking area is available and nice if you travel by car. The buffet breakfast was fresh and could be enjoyed at small tables inside or outside. Wow, what a charming little place. Reception was so nice and welcoming, gave us some wonderful suggestions for dinner and drinks. The room was very clean, great size (the high ceilings make it feel larger) and the terrace was fantastic. This place was perfect for my partner and I, plus my Mother and our small dog. A good budget hotel. A good budget hotel, ideal if travelling and just need somewhere to sleep. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, we stayed 2 nights and room made up on 2 day. A little tired but felt price good for what was on offer. A really nice breakfast, with lots of choice. Staff friendly and I felt they would be happy to help if needed.
