Hotel Helios in Juan-les-Pins

It was close to restaurants and the beach. The staff was very nice. The beds were clean. Close to a supermarket and a yummy bakery.
The room was not quiet. You could hear street noise and the people in the hallway and next door. Bring earplugs.
Also the shower grout was black from mould. At least the shower drained. Also the area around the doorhandle to the wc was very dirty. I wiped it and the cloth was very dirty. The walls were banged up and could use a wipe
More attention to cleanliness would go along way.
I would not recommend it to anyone.

I had a good hope for this hotel but ending up very disappointed. Ordered 7 nights at short notice in high season, so therefor unfortunately limited hotels and rooms selections. We got a small, but quite nice room at the top, included a small balcony. But the elevators were very noisy and disturbing, and kept us awake the first nights. The breakfast was OK and originally included in the order confirmation from Hotel.com. But this was surprising not accepted from the receptionist since this was not a standard procedure having breakfast included. Hopeless to argue, since this was written in Norwegian. Ending up paying 84 Euros extra on top of the extra breakfastbill since we did not ordering breakfast up in front when we arrived?? I still not understand that. Anyway Helios Beach club is recommended with a nich beach, good sunbeds, lunchces and dinners, but for sake of good order, find another hotel.
