I liked the room, the location and the friendliness and professionalism of the receptionist: we muddled along between us with my rusty French and she helped me along with a few words of English! Comfortable stay , lovely walled city. Not as busy in October which is what we were looking for, easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Friendly people. Comfy bed .. we wanted a sea view so the room was on the top floor - there is a small lift so not too bad .. would definitely return

Superb location next to the old city wall. Secure parking available. The owner speaks excellent English. Great value and service. Perfect for exploring the old town with its numerous shops restaurants and bars. Definitely recommended for a stay.

The host/owner Patrick is the friendliest, kindest and most helpful person I have met in a very long time. The hotel is steps from the old city wall and the sea. The decor is authentically nautical. The rooms are small but big enough to walk on both sides of the bed. The elevator is charming but only holds one person and a medium suitcase. Very clean. Good continental breakfast. Hotel.was very good, Inside the walls but parking can problematic. All the staff where very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. All.in all, most enjoyable.

Excellent, decent hotel on beautiful location in Saint-Malo close to all major city parking space. Friendly staff (special credits to the night staff who took care of us at 2 am!) with a 24-hour reception which is unfortunately getting a rare thing in hotels. Clean, modern rooms with good water pressure & nice smelling handwash, 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner and shower gel. We had a corner room with 3 windows, which let in a cool breeze during the summer days we were there, since there were no AC or fan. Located in the center of the old town, it is convenient for walking around. The staff was kind. The room we stayed in was small, but the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. There is heating but no air conditioning, so the room may be quite hot in the summer. (It was a little hot even at the end of May.) There is a kettle in the room, but no refrigerator.

Very nice stay. The room was large, with balcony and kitchen. The facilities were clean, large and comfortable. A great stay!

Loved the close proximity to the port and town. The mini kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans. The sofa bed was not comfortable- only issue with the whole stay. I think as the room is for families, a permanent double would make much more sense. A sofa is not needed as you have a well proportioned dining area plus lovely little balcony with chairs. We were traveling by car and the hotel was easy to find. We had pre arranged to park at the hotel and the fee was reasonable. We had a delay on getting to hotel by a day but on calling the hotel they were very accommodating and sent an email with codes on to get in if we arrived late in the day. It was a little far from the tourist attraction, but it was good because the parking fee for the tourist attraction was not expensive. The room was small, but it was convenient. However, it was uncomfortable because one of the beds downstairs was sitting down.

We were disappointed with the B&B st Malo self check in system. We booked 3 rooms but we could only get one room with the reference id. We had to call the b&b assistance using their outdated communication phone where the audio volume was simply too low to communicate and understand. Stayed for 1 night and no complaints. 2* with no frills. We stayed in a 4 person room with a mezzanine. Bath was clean and beds were comfy. Didn't meet any staff due to late self check in and early check out
