Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop and close to the port for ferry crossings. Room clean and tidy but could do with a refurb.

Great place for stopover. Brit hotel let us change the date of our stay without charge even though it was non refundable booking through *******.

There was a problem with the drains in the bathroom, a smell and water drained very slowly from the shower and washbasin.

This property turned out to be a large hotel near a highway. It caters two buses of tourists, so the restaurant wasn’t available because it was full. The rooms were lovely, however. Being on the edge of town meant that it was hard to walk to any nice restaurants, although we found a wonderful Asian buffet, Mongolian barbecue restaurant nearby.

My experience at this Ibis Styles was the better I never had !!! Just few minutes walking to the ferry. Good recommandations for restaurants nearby :-) Very good welcome at reception and breakfast. Room perfect. I will come back, that’s for sure !!

A great stopover en route to the Saint Malo - Portsmouth ferry, being just off the main road and having a straightforward, free car park. Yes it’s in the middle of a retail park (which was deserted at the weekend). But the excellent buses (routes 1 and 2) can be picked up very nearby so it’s easy to get into town. Great location in the old town. The room was nice and clean. The elevator is very small, probably due to architectural restrictions imposed by the location, so it may be difficult to get in if you have a lot of luggage. The staff were very helpful and it was a great experience.

Amazing location right in the centre of the old town, conveniently located close to public parking. Wifi was better than in most similar hotels in the region, the bed was not too hard, decent sized bathroom.

A nice cozy hotel Bristo is a nice cozy hotel, we feel warm welcoming from booking confirmation email to our acutal check-in and check-out. Situate at central of old Saint-Malo area, where the main attraction and good restaurant are all nearby, we love this hotel and will certainly come back if we have next visit to Saint-Malo.

The original stone building might be different but the rooms we were in was in a pre-fab block in the car park. You can hear deliveries coming and going at 11pm and 6pm every day. Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is clean, well maintained, and everything feels really organised. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was bigger than I expected, the bed was super comfy, and the shower was great. Lots of little problems made unpleasant experience Bad start - drove through the maze to drop off bags, asked hotel person (hard to identify since it's also a restaurant) for advice on where to park, and he said he had no idea at all. As parking is clearly an issue in St. Malo, he should've had some idea. We finally figured something reasonable out after 40 minutes of trying to get back out of town...

The location is a shame that this hotel is undergoing exterior work which prevents a good view from the windows. The room was good... clean, certainly recently renovated. Nothing to report on the sanitary facilities. The brasserie offers a good selection of dishes and good quality. The only downside is the breakfast at 12 euros and not much coffee, bread and croissants 😡

Just a two day visit to Saint Malo… perfect location, near train station and bus stops. Staff friendly and helpful. Was able to hold our luggage on our day of departure so we can explore the area.

This beautiful hotel, formerly a family home, is owned and run by the loveliest couple. Charming, friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden.
