Hôtel l'Onda in Calvi

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel L'Onda! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed — truly a pleasure to come back to after a day out. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right.

A special thank you to the amazing staff, especially Andrada and Pauline, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their warm hospitality made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Modern hotel with spacious and well-equipped rooms (air con, shower, fridge, safe, hairdryer, lighting all in good working conditions) that boasts an esthetic decor. It looks like a renovation that has been done recently or they have been upkeeping the last renovation very well. We have really enjoyed staying here. Most rooms have a view of the wall of the building next door but if one is willing to pay for the steep price difference, a room with seaview is possible. I am satisfied to go without the view. Besides, the beach is literally right behind the hotel and easily accessible from the parking lot of the hotel. Also, location is perfect as I found out. It's around a 15 min walk to town (mostly flat) and one can thus just leave the car at hotel. Staff at reception are all friendly and detailed explanations on how and where to explore were given at check-in.

Stayed two nights in this well situated hotel. Easy beach access. 10 minute walk to the old city…but also shops, restaurants & grocery store on main road which is where the hotel sits. Super nice staff. Very pleased all around. Oh! Did I forget to mention the great breakfast buffet? The best of our trip yet!

Great value for money. Rooms are clean and modern and the beds are very comfortable for someone like me who likes a hard bed. Really nice service at the reception. Location is great as you can walk a few minutes to the beach or downtown Calvi. Extra points for the superb breakfast with its creamy scrambled eggs, natural yogurt, homemade granola and wide variety of different kinds of bread and local coffee from Ile Rousse.

What an amazing stay!
Great location, on the beach where there are both public & private options, and 15 mins walking distance from the harbor which is the lively area with all bars and restaurants. Super clean rooms, very convenient breakfast with fresh and local taste.
On top of these facilities what made the stay quite exceptional was the young lady at the reception. We had a flight in the evening and she was super helpful to provide us the beach towels to enjoy the day at the beach and as well gave us the chance to take a proper shower before we leave! It was such great stay, appreciate the hospitality and flexibility. Definitely recommend!!

Great stay!
It’s a three-star hotel but feels more like a four-star. The beach is right beside the hotel and access to centre ville is easy and only a 13-minute walk. I will stay here again if I return!
