Hotel Mediterranee in Calvi

A recently refurbished hotel in the little harbour town of Calvi Its very close to the Citadel and the main tourist centre and harbour. All rooms have balconies and some have sea views (on higher floors). The hotel looks better inside than outside. Its very fresh and modern, has a lift, bar and breakfast room..no restaurant but there are many places to eat in Calvi. They are adding a pool to the hotel in the future on the 1st floor terrace. Rooms a little small but very fresh with simple, stylish furnishings. You have to be patient with the aircon in the rooms!

It was my husband's birthday the day we booked and also arrived. We'd stayed the previous night at the hotel across the road (their sister hotel) but were unable to book another night there as we'd arrived during the busiest weekend possible when Calvi were hosting the Motorcycle Trials World Championship 2025! We were lucky to see this room pop up as available during the day and we booked it immediately. I also sent a request for a room with the best view possible. We checked in shortly after 3pm and were delighted to get room 315 which was on the top floor and had the most wonderful view - of the sea, the citadel and the mountains. We were even able to see the sunset from our balcony. The room was great - spacious, comfortable beds and a clean and good size bathroom. The location is great - 5 minutes walk from the citadel and old town and marina and about 15-20 minutes to the beautiful main beach of Calvi. We left our car in the public parking by the citadel which cost €15 for the 24 hours and was about 4 minutes walk away. The pool was fabulous - big and heated to 29C! I loved it - my favorite pool on our two week touring holiday. And a very big thank you to the staff for letting us have that room with such a marvellous view on my husband's birthday. We really appreciated it.

Room was clean and balcony was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Ayant connu l’hôtel Méditerranée il y a 13 ans, je peux dire que la rénovation est vraiment top, la piscine sur la terrasse magnifique, les chambres très belles et confortables, propres, une odeur de frangipanier réconfortante et très agréable dans tout l’hôtel.
Le calme qui règne, le pdj buffet très très appétissant et bon.
La gentillesse de tout le staff
Toute ma famille a été enchantée de séjourner ici.

Near centre, so some noise at night. Room clean and tidy, but a pinch small - we had to wait to walk around the bed. Small balcony, but not sea view. Good bathroom / shower / wet room. Toilet weirdly up a sort of corridor. Breakfast ok, fresh with some choice. A nice perched pool on the first floor - one admires the engineering. No dinner. My wife left her glasses behind, and they were kind enough to post them back to the UK WELL DONE and THANKS

The welcome was perfect, ALL the staff were attentive and the manager Marie-Pierre was adorable, she notably upgraded us free of charge. The hotel is very well located, very clean, quiet, the swimming pool is pleasant, the breakfast very good. Really, there's nothing to complain about, it's perfect! Thank you again for everything and see you next year I hope!
