Very good hotel if you like:
-Strangers entering your room after 9 pm;
-Being locked out of your own room two days after they "fixed" the problem;
-The fact the receptionist don't seem to fully understand neither french or English;
-To not be heard when you complain about any of these things;
-Broken loungers (so you can lay on the ground);
-To overpay for your stay becuse quality does not match the price.

If you like the above I would strongly recommend this hotel. None of these things seemed to surprise the hotel so I think all of these things happen regularly.
One thing is sure, we won't book here again.

Personal recommendation: Do not stay longer than one night.

Cons 👎
- The smell in the room from past cigarette-days is really bad (yes, people used to smoke in the rooms!), there are no refreshments to cover it. It has not been a pleasure trying to sleep with the disgusting smell
- The carpet is dirty
- The walls are dirty
- The interior is way outdated (maybe 70s or 80s) and the design is hideous (personal opinion)
- The AC also smelled bad, so we turned it off and opened the window. Unfortunately, this meant that we had to fight the mosquitos in the middle of the night (no net or similar has been installed to hinder insects from entering the room). Additionally, sleeping was also due to heavy and noisy traffic until 3am (yes, I am not joking) a challenge
- The light in the bathroom is okay but is relatively dark
- If you like good coffee, go somwhere else. The coffee we had wasn't tasty and the machine decided to work only sometimes
- The WiFi was okay, but the regularly disconnection sucks. We had to reconnect every tere and now

Pros 👍
- The breakfast was worth the price and the variety is good. Also, the baguette was fresh and had a crunchy crust
- The cleaning staff was very friendly and did a proper job
- The pool was good and pleasant, though it also is old and you can clearly see that
- the bed was comfortable

To sum up: The hotel offers all the basics but lacks strongly in room and infrastructure quality. We were especially disappointed by the disgusting smell because this is not something that you expect for 110 Euros per night. The hotel is really old and definitely needs a general renovation. The location and the breakfasts are fair.

I hope that this review helps you to decide whether you want to choose the hotel or not. Corsica is beautiful, but only if you can enjoy it.

Rude staff, not working wifi, they should have provided dinner for us but didnt. Rooms just basic but enough for one oversleep. But wifi worked only at the reception.

Good afternoon, I am staying here for one more night as I have extended and I must say I am extremely disappointed at the service quality of this hotel. The receptionist who is from Eastern Europe was very rude and was insisting that we leave even though we told her we will come down and pay for one more night. This is a hotel and the staff need to learn how to deal with customers and how to communicate effectively. This is not acceptable as I am a paying customer and if the staff do not know how to communicate to the guests, they should receive the proper training from management or should not be put in the front face of the hotel. It is extremely rude and this behavior has ruined my trip. I will never be coming back again.

Hi we stayed one night at this hotel, its like a lot of hotels at Corsica a bit outdated, rooms ok bit stuffy for my taste. Reception friendly, does want to help you. However we did not give it a 3 as it is situated in a very noisy place. Going to the centre is 30 minutes walk. We will not visit Ajeccio again. The atmosphere is not ok, a bit laisser faire is ok, Ajeccio has too much, to put it nicely- people from ajeccio take care of your city together, you've got such a nice place but you forget to clean it once every year or so...

Extremely small room, with a desk of strange form (seems taken from another place) that has no connection to the room. If someone is sitting at the desk, he must get up for another person to pass. Definitely not a room for two. No fridge, TV that takes half of desk space, so I had to sit on the right side where the desk almost meets the bed with less than one foot distance. To get up I had to push the chair sideways, because was already flash to the bed. Safe box in the wardrobe. Very slow Wi-Fi connection.
The bathroom is OK, but not much space for towels. Amazing shower with all sides massage that one will appreciate after long walks in the city. Nice balcony but looks towards the street and is very noisy. The window and the door are single glass type and transmit noise easily. We were lucky to get the room at the end of the corridor, so no passing-by guests’ noise.
Huge hotel with almost no parking space. There are 12 regular parking spaces, 2 handicap ones that are always occupied by non-handicap cars and one electric car parking space with charger. There is a high chance you will find a place on the street.
Nice foyer, coffee machine and vending machine, helpful personnel. Indoor pool.

Maybe the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are small and old, I guess they have not renovated since the 80s! The bathroom was not clean at an acceptable standard and the hairdryer provided was ridiculous! No shampoo provided but just shower gel, we paid way too much for what we were offered.
