Hotel Carre Noir in Porto-Vecchio

Friendly receptioniste nice view from room. Room is ok but… Room is not very clean. I gave a bunch of long hairs to the receptionist, I founded next to my bed. Windows of room and balcony are very dirty. Windows around swimming pool are very dirty. Broken umbrella at the pool. Concrete pieces broken from terrace (you can see the iron), paint and plaster coming of walls everywhere in hotel (not in room). Door of room makes a lot of noise when opening or closing it. Room was not ready at arrival (16h15) but we got a glass of water to compensate… room ready at 17h10. Hotel needs very urgent some maintenance and cleaning work done. And that for more then 206€/night??? And breakfast is not worth 16€/person. Never again…

Le Vol !!! Alert!

We stay 2 nights in the hotel, unfortunately there was staff theft !!!
400 euro cash in our wallet was missing. In the 2nd evening we came back to the hotel by our car, and we just checked everything was ok, cash, credit card and passport is in our bag. When we arrived at hotel we asked the staff how to go to the beach then we left 1 bag (with 400 euro inside) in the room and just walk outside for less than 1 hour then came back again to the room and stayed till next morning. After the breakfast in the hotel we drove to the Figari airport then we discovered all our cash is gone. We called the hotel immediately for asking to check the video camera but of course no any answer. Then we went to the police station in airport, due to the limited time for boarding, we have to record it in Paris!!!

I think as a 4 star hotel it must do something to improve their management!

And I would to alert other guests to think about if this hotel is good one to stay !!! Too risky!
