Le Clos d'Emile in Bordeaux

Le Clos d'Emile is a truly luxurious Guest House in Bordeaux, and is without doubt one of the best we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptional. The rooms were elegant and refined "dignes d’un hôtel 5★" and the overall experience offered outstanding value for money. Richard, the owner, was the perfect host throughout our stay. A detail that perfectly sums up the experience: we crossed paths with him on our arrival, cycling back from the local cheese shop with fresh cheeses for the breakfast buffet. It’s those thoughtful, personal touches that make all the difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and my only regret is that we stayed for just one night. This will without hesitation be my hotel of choice for both business and leisure trips to Bordeaux. Thank you, Richard, for making our short stay so pleasant and comfortable - and for kindly lending us your wonderful office to work from on the morning of our departure.
