Cramped and Silly Interiors
Clean but very cluttered and the interior design is poor; black switches on black walls, and no separate bathroom. No space within the room and very cramped. Red light on window ledge that is impossible to turn off. Overall poor value for money.

Very small room - needed to keep suitcases under the bed since there was absolutely no room to keep them open anywhere in the room. The location is convenient, but the staff at the front desk was very unfriendly.

Great Stay
lovely hotel, great location in town, walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, shops. & staff are friendly, and thank you to all the team for speaking great English, appreciated. I know it must be frustrating that the British struggle with a 2nd language!

Well-located, very unique design hotel. Superb breakfast. Reception staff could be friendlier. The handling of the €100 deposit for the minibar needs to be much better.

As we were attending 'Le Cid' representation at the nearby 'Théâtre des Feuillants', we decided to book a night at the Vertigo Hotel in centre Dijon.
The hotel is well located and surrounded with places to visit and good restaurants to indulge yourself.
We used the hotel's carpark and no specific issue to get our SUV parked there.
The hotel staff is dedicated and looking after your needs, special mention to the bartender.
Otherwise, the hotel was refurbished with a design attempt, but the room are definitively too small.
We even had to ask for a change, as in the first one, the small bed was absolutely a no way for us to sleep together in!
We liked the bar atmosphere, you can even find a cigar lounge, but do not expect a great selection from the cigar cave...
I'll recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dijon.

The cost on ******* was only a total of 20 euro less than booking directly with Marriott..I would have booked directly with Marriott for my upgrade options and points if I had known. The 4 star property is pretty run down. The towels were well worn, the mirror in the bathroom I had had a giant crack at the bottom, and the shower smelled like mildew. The staff was friendly and helpful, the a/c worked, there was a Nespresso for coffee to use in the morning and the location was convenient to walk to everything central to Dijon.

The only lift broke down and not working for at least 4 days, very difficult for people to walk 4-5 flights of stairs, especially for elderly folks and those with leg issues.
