This would have been 5 stars, except that my boyfriend's father died during our stay, and the manager charged us half for the night that we had to leave. I know for a fact that the rest of the hotel was already booked and this didn't help our experience during this emotional time. I would like to thank the woman at the front desk, who was super helpful and kind to us as we were both a bit lost during this time.

Aside from the above, the views are amazing, as we we were able to book a room that directly faces the water (see pic). The hotel also has a private beach associated with it and we enjoyed the restaurant (bring money, as it's separate from the hotel, so you can't charge it to your room). The hotel also has a swimming pool with salt water and lots of areas to just chill and enjoy the views. It's a little away from downtown, so if you want some more peace and quiet, this is a good pick.
