I normally never write reviews, and I have stayed in many hotels around the world for work, but this has been the first time I have ever experienced something like this.

I stayed in room 308, and from the first night I started getting red, itchy spots on my arms and legs. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites, but after a few days I was covered in them, many in lines like bed bugs

I asked reception for another room and was moved to one on the first floor. The very first thing I saw when I entered was a brown stain on the wall, which made me feel uncomfortable, so I immediately went back and asked for another room. They then gave me a room close to my original one. I slept there wearing different clothes and without bringing any belongings, but the next morning I woke up with even more bites.

I inspected the bed and mattress seams and found what appeared to be bed bugs. When lifting the bedsheet, I also found a plastic spoon inside the bed, which made me question the cleaning standards.

I checked the mattress of the first room again and found more bugs. The reception staff saw them as well.

In general, I noticed several cleaning issues during my stay. After housekeeping, I often found items on the floor, including my personal brush, which made me feel like the room was not properly cleaned and handled with care.

Eventually, I had to change hotels, lose working time, throw away clothes, and deal with discomfort and sleepless nights and medical treatments. This was extremely stressful and disgusting and I was disappointed by the situation.

Stayed there while on tour, with my partner and our dog.

Dog friendly, decent size of the room and quiet place. Felt that the location was good as well since we were close to the theatre where we were performing.

Staff was helpful after our departure by email.

Only point to improve on our side is the breakfast. Not any fresh food really.

But overall, good experience.

Parking not available when we arrived and not offered when booking even though there is one!!! So parking in a private car park nearby according to the manager's information. Result: €30/night parking (Clemenceau). Hearty breakfast. Correct welcome but no information on restaurants and visits to do....

Not clean. On the first day I found some hair in the shower and stains on the shower curtain. The room was not cleaned every day, the towels were not replaced, or when they took them away they did not bring new ones, and the toilet paper was never restocked.

Reception is only open a few hours during the day, there is nobody at night and you need a code to enter the building.

Early evening I smelt smoke from the room, went to check the corridor, which was filled with smoke and found 2 fire fighters banging on doors and asking people to leave rooms. There was no fire alarm at all, either on our floor (3rd) or the others coming down, and a barely audible beep on the ground floor. Reception was closed and no one was there to give instructions or provide information. The fire fighters said there was an unknown source of fire possibly in the elevator shafts and said it was highly problematic that the alarms did not function. They left and came back a few times as they could not identify the source of the smoke. Hours later when the hotel manager finally came, there were no signs telling customers to not use the lifts, no information about safety and security, the manager lied to us saying there was no fire in the first place, and when told we did not hear the fire alarm she said it only works on the bottom floor and was adamant that it was normal for fire alarms in upper floors to not signal (despite clear presence of smoke in the corridors). The hotel smelled very strongly of smoke until the next day.

Great accommodation. Small kitchen in a nice room. Friendly man at the reception. We could store our bikes in a separate room in the hotel.
