The Originals City, Hôtel Mondial, Perpignan in Perpignan

A beautiful hotel. Nicely located in the very heart of Perpignan. However, my experience was bad at this place to be honest. First, it was raining that night so we went to the lobby when we arrived with our kid from the street and asked for a hair dryer, as the one in our room was not working: the clerk was VERY rude and told us that it was already too late and those where not his working hours. We practically begged for his help because we where with a 4 year old kid, it wasn’t my fault that the room dryer was not working. He finally gave us a hair dryer with a terrible face; so uncomfortable. The heating was turned off at the middle of the night and we were not able to turn it on again, it was raining and freezing outside so we had a very bad and cold night: unfair after paying so much money for that place. More surprises: In the morning I found out that I was charged TWO TIMES! The hotel employee that morning was a very nice girl, who tried her best to help us, but her boss told her that they where sorry but couldn’t return the money to us that day, even though it was their mistake and we where having such a bad experience. We insisted , but had to leave the hotel without our money! We where very sad that day because of the terrible moment thanks to the Hotel Mondial. The next week, we received a message from the Hotel saying that they ordered a transfer to return me the money, but the bank details where wrong!! What a mess!! After more calls and conversations, they finally sent our money back. So much hassle, the terrible face from the clerk, no heating at night…Are you sure you want to stay at the Mondial Nightmare Hotel?

Its an ok hotel, but the quality of provided towel is the worst one ever which torned my back effectively. Then I went down to see the receptionist he claimed thst there is nothing he could do.

In the morning I went to see another receptionist she offered to change the towel for me, but turned out nothing changed and they judt took that towel out of my room.

Good stuff? Or hideous and pathetic? You tell me! Bring your own towel if I were you and by the way enjoy the dust on the floor under your bed which is seriously a big mess.
