I stayed at Hotel Campanile Metz Est recently .. The hotel has free parking, which is always a plus ..
The breakfast was quite decent .. fresh bread, croissants, coffee, and the basics were all available ..
Staff were polite ..
However, the hotel room felt outdated and worn .. clearly in need of a serious update .. the atmosphere lacks the comfort you’d expect even from a budget hotel ..
Positive point: the mattress was surprisingly comfortable and we slept well..
If you're just stopping over for a night and don’t expect much, it can do the job but don’t expect anything beyond the essentials ..

Breakfast excellent, dinner only just adequate. Bedroom not great but clean. Lights switches for bedside lights were hidden! Had to move out two single beds to switch lighting on/off which was far from ideal. Very friendly staff but might not be booking again.

My experience at this place was very unpleasant .
For the room and service i can have nothing to say,it's just a 3 star hotel,it works as should be.
A dislike for the security of parking becomes because my car was broken at the door the things inside get stolen .
The security camera at the hotel has poor quality at the recording .
PS: Make sure you have a security parking place.

Hotel now very tired, needs some serious work. First room offered we couldn't fully open door and I cut my hand trying. Second room lock was so stiff door wouldn't close, fortunately I carry WD40 and could free it off. Bathroom very poor, common problems in Campanile is no sink plug. Very noisy from other room. Service was OK and location good. Restaurant choice poor but breakfast OK. Just about OK for a brief one night stay. Campanile you need to up your game and get back to how you once was.

Helpful and kind staff,clean inside with amenities,good food at dinner(no lunch)
Located in the green where many ways by walking can be used.
My room was dark inside.

There were very dirty spots on the Floor and the toilet didn’t flush well

The room was dated and very small. The outside common area had not been maintained ( weeds, grass not mown, flowers overgrown)
Staff were nice and breakfast was adequate
