We only stayed for 1 night. Free parking, very cheap. Room was ok, quite small. The bathroom was ok, towels supplied. Room was old and could do with a makeover, had a small window which faced over the car park. Had a small heater which worked well and warmed the room. The lady on reception was really lovely and friendly. You can get breakfast here and the location is near a supermarket for any provisions. Overall it was ok.

Somewhere to lay your head, that's about all it has going for it.
Arrived late in the evening tired, was told we hadn't paid even though we had. Took a while to prove it, and one of the members of our party had arrived earlier and had to pay. We ended up getting a refund in the morning but it was a lot of stress.
Rooms are very basic. Light didn't work in one bathroom and in the other room the shower attachment was broken.
Breakfast was expensive and poor quality, would recommend the nearby supermarket which has a nice cafe with good deals.

This is a budget hotel - please keep this in mind when you read this review. It is an incredibly cheap room for the night, but at €60 a night you get exactly what you pay for:
PROS
- very cheap for a hotel room
- great water pressure
- quiet at night
- breakfast is basic but plentiful
CONS
- it’s on an industrial site about 3km out of the centre, with no restaurants nearby
- it is a tired building, covered in scaffolding
- the rooms are very basic, with small windows, and windowless bathrooms that feel like an airplane bathroom
- pillows were appalling
- no common areas other than a few chairs in the car park
It’s not bad. But it’s exactly what you should expect when booking a €60 a night hotel room. Normally something stands out in a hotel, but for this ibis, nothing did.
I’ve stayed in ibis’s before in France, but this was my first time staying in the budget range. I would recommend paying a little extra and staying somewhere closer to the centre if in Caen for more than 1 night.

Very nice and helpful staff. They realised I was going to struggle to reach the allocated first floor room as there's no lift and asked if we would prefer a ground floor room. Basic but clean, comfortable accommodation, couldn't ask for much more for the price.

2 rooms for 3 people, one standard double and triple room. (202 and 303)
Room was good, but had a few odd things.
- the top bunk wasnt made up so we had to do it.
- The sheets for that bunk seem to be clean.
- When cleaned the cleaner only did the double in the Triple room didn’t do the top.
- Did have a heavy cigarette smoke smell.
Breakfast was actually very good, was very pleasantly surprised.
We had an issue upon checkin. We had pre-paid the rooms on the ibis website before arrival but only one appeared as paid on the system. There was a language barrier between us and the receptionist. We showed proof of the room payment but didn’t consider our situation or call management to help. We had to pay again meaning we spent £250 (€300) for our visit which was double the room rate.

Simple rooms but perfect for an overnight stay where flopping in bed is all you care for. Supermarket and restraraunt nearby and within 20 minutes drive of the ferry port.

Room was too hot no air con , view out the window not so great , row of traveller caravan s complete with noise and smells !!!

Useful overnight stop if using early morning ferry or late evening arrival. Rooms are basic but adequate.

No Aircon, so very hard to sleep in hot weather. Our room was right beside a carpark full of Travellers so it was pretty loud. Pleasant staff and a clean room however.
