The Originals City, Hôtel Le Savoy, (Inter-Hotel)

Ahhh what can I say about Hotel Savoy The Originals.
Room was lovely. It was clean, spacious and able to accommodate a family of 5 which we really appreciated. Had separate toilet room and wash room in the room itself so did not need to share with the floor. We were on the top floor which is quite a climb so get the lift.
That is the only compliment of here.
The service was shockingly bad. We got breakfast the next morning and the man working the breakfast must have crawled out of a hole of bad mood. Perhaps it was an off day, but he was in more than a bad mood, he had blatant outward disdain for the guests.
We had a table picked for ourselves which was fine, we were not looking for any service from him. He approached me and asked me a question in French, which is fine, but when I didn't understand him, my lack of French really annoyed him. This was the FIRST person in our 14 day stay in France that had an issue with our little French and that was rude to us. Everyone else we met was lovely. He tutted off when I couldn't answer him and returned to show us to a different table. I asked if he had English tea as all I saw was fruit teas, he seemed shocked at the request. He kept looking at us as we ate wanting us to hurry up and tutted when our girls used the tea machine. 2 other guests arrived down after us and he made it obvious he was looking at his watch and was unhappy with the time of their arrival. We were made to feel an inconvenience and messy and unwelcome, and for 150 odd euro for the night, that's not good enough.
If you want a clean place to stay I'd recommend, but don't expect any smile or thanks and I'd even go so far as to say don't get breakfast or try and dare speak while here. Worst service of my life. 2 stars is purely based on the clean room.
