Hôtel Spa Marotte in Amiens

Very nice hotel in the middle of the city, easy accessible and not far from the old historic center. Rooms are clean and spacey, beds are good. We stayed in the annex and were brought to our room by the receptionist, she checked whether all was okay and functioning. Have not seen that many times before👍👍👍 we could charge out car in front of the main building against very good rates, super convenient. Getting there is a challenge, Amiens is a one way traffic ⛔ paradise. Making a mistake makes you go around again, just follow the instructions from the hotel.. we didn't in the first place... Would go back there again.

From the moment we arrived, Estelle, the owner, made us feel welcome and appreciated. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the lounge area was the perfect place to regather after many days travelling, a champagne helped. Breakfast was splendid and parking easy nearby. Nothing was too much trouble and we wished we could of stayed for a week.

Hotel is a short walking distance from all the sites in Amien the old quarter eating places. Excellent penthouse room with balcony complete with sofa and two chairs, sauna, separate kitchen and bathroom areas. Secure parking provide in an old factory unit a block from the hotel. Staff could not be more pleasant and helpful, particularly the Ukrainian lady who checked us in. Continental style breakfast (cheese, ham, yoghurts etc.) can be taken across the road in the spa block at an additional cost and by pre-booking the night before. Will have no hesitation in booking in here again.

Well designed and maintained rooms in a lovely old town centre building. The garage is a few hundred metres away in the next block but is secure and very easy to use. Location is very good - 5 minutes from the cathedral and 10 from le Quai.
The young lady who welcomed us could not have been more helpful.
Breakfast was not the best, but overall, this is a great hotel choice for anyone visiting Amiens by car.

We are seniors and had room 37 (second floor American) for 4 nights in mid July in the adjacent building (which also houses the spa).
Recommended by our host, it was the perfect room for us. Spacious, always quiet, comfortable chairs for a sitting area in the bedroom and another comfy chair in the spacious sunny bathroom. Two great french windows in the bedroom and a matching one in the bath make for lots of great natural light and fresh air. The bath has a massive sparkling modern tub and a separate walk-in shower (good water pressure in the rain shower btw). A wall behind the head of the bed separates the dressing area and bathroom from the bed and TV area for lots privacy.
Other reviewers note the cleanliness of the hotel. We can confirm that. Spotless.
A pleasant view from all windows over the courtyard of the restaurant area below. The restaurant was only open for breakfast during our stay so the courtyard was always quiet. We even had a light picnic at one of the tables one evening. Very convenient.
Good air conditioning. Modern roomy, elevator.
Easy walk from the SNCF gare and the cathedral and all things in central Amiens.
We highly recommend Hotel Marotte! My wife was very pleased that my trip planning included this memorable hotel.

We love this hotel and the city of Amiens. This was our fourth visit. The hotel is well-positioned for the station, cathedral and shops, but also has local covered parking. The rooms are a great size, the beds comfortable and it is great to actually have a bath in the bathroom.

Driving from Normandy to Bastogne during our WWII site seeing tour and Amiens was a great halfway place to stop. Hotel Marotte was a wonderful place to stay with hosts that could not do enough to accommodate my handicap father who is wheelchair dependent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Only a 10 mins walk to cathedral of our lady in Amiens which is a must see!

Wonderful hotel. The warmest of welcomes. Immaculately clean. Central location. Would highly recommend this amazing hotel. Attention to detail is 100%. Lovely staff. Nothing too much trouble. Amazing!
