Perfect hotel. Excellent service, room, and location.

Special mention for the rooftop bar and the manager who welcomed, served, and advised us for several days. She even created several cocktails for the menu!

The only downside to this hotel is the quality of the breakfast. It definitely needs improvement.

The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful .

Our rooms were clean and well kept. Good location in the city

15.09.2025 Guest

Really well located hotel, with lovely art deco features and well chosen furniture. Good, powerful shower and in general very comfortable. The coffee machine in the room was temperamental, although was better behaved after mentioning to the welcome desk. The breakfast was good, although there were few choices for those with food restrictions. There was no decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast so we were advised to get coffee from our bedroom which was a little frustrating. A long walk for a coffee cup with breakfast!

A good stay

The hotel is truly fantastic: comfortable beds, a large shower, and a fantastic location were simply amazing! The rooftop terrace offers amazing views and delicious cocktails. An all-around wonderful stay.

28.11.2024 Suhas

Right next to the city centre (Grand plaza)! Lovely old style decor and furniture, even inside the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The roof top bar had a wonderful selection of cocktails and a great view of the Grand Place.

14.09.2024 Falk

The rooms are spacious and very tastefully put together. When stepping out of the Hotel, you are just where you’d want to be for starting to explore the city. The rooftop bar has nothing to offer besides the view, understaffed and the staff that are there are either full of themselves or untrained.

Edit 14. September 2024: Same experience with the bar, left after 15 minutes without being served

12.08.2024 Guest

Centrally located hotel, ideal for sightseeing and just a few metro stops from the Mauroy Stadium.
The decor is revisited vintage, with beautiful chandeliers.
The bathroom door in the 206 is problematic; there's not enough space. The bathroom and showerhead are unclean.
The floor is carpeted over creaky parquet flooring.
Water dispensers are available on all floors, and the hotel is air-conditioned.
The staff was welcoming.
Great breakfast, with the cheese shortbread.

The rooftop opens at 4 p.m. The cocktails are good but relatively expensive for a provincial town: 16-18, 7 for a Coke. The view is disappointing.
