The train station is dirty, cold, in the air currents and wet in times of rain.
Only one escalator per platform. The travellers are lost often forced to climb on foot with their luggage.
One out of three times the escalator and the elevator side, place François Mitterrand are down.
In summary, bravo to the architects who did - as usual - no thought of the travelers and their comfort while they are the ones that finance in a double way (taxes and ticketing)

Visit you easily in several cities of Europe from this station : London, Brussels, Amsterdam...
Only downside : a lack of equipment in the station compared to the other large stations in europe ! (Even if it is a bit modernized during the London olympics)

Problem when booking by phone:
Lack of timetable information to the agency at the train station that closes from 13: 30 to 15: 30.
Time of arrival of the train in an hour late, and falls when the agency is closed, it is necessary to wait, therefore, 1h30 on the dock !!!
Problem No. of such Assistance which does not work on the Weekend !!!
Host agency in the effective opening
for the wait and the assistance in default I see the competition

I love this station, if you have the opportunity to go through this station, either by train or the metro, do as the gare de lille Flanders is really horible and fear as any. What a pleasure the metro lille Europe. Today the centre cial Euralille is completed, the input side lille Europe, it has straight 6 restaurants of quality in a framework encorpe more magical than the train station.
Poorly-designed station! How can we imagine a station that is "open" to Lille?

Good, but too cold, and full of currents of air. There should also be more elevators and escalators.
Wish more train stations were like this. Waiting room as working USB plugs. Toilets cost 70 cents though, which is ridiculous.
They serve Affligem in the station bar. If you select one of the British beers on offer instead there is something wrong with you. Luggage storage is manned, closes at 8pm, and is efficient but not cheap.
A very quiet and peace place. It is too windy in winter and must carry caps and scarves to protect in winter. Also , not many places to visit except the city center. All shops are mostly closed on Christmas.
