Nice rooms, but bar closes at 23:00 which is far too early. Room service was too busy to order too but reception staff didn't seem to care.

Exceptional service - the reception team were warm and welcoming. They seemed genuinely happy to greet us and to help. The room was spacious and comfortable, and spotless - brilliant housekeeping team! The hotel is well located too - a few minutes easy walk to the Eurostar terminal and just ten mins walk into the historic centre.

The hotel's location is perfect, right in the city center. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated, but the mattresses are very hard, which is a downside.

Nice, pleasantly designed hotel bu I was expecting more amenity for a 4 star hotel. No tea or milk in the room. Only two small coffee capsules (on decaf one normal). No ironing facility in the room. No hair conditioner.  No kettle … my phone and heating weren’t wirking.

The facilities were fine, but I had a problem with the size of a 23-square-meter superior room, which was also crammed with furniture, so we couldn't pass each other or had to move it constantly. The breakfast was varied but inadequate. First, there was no cheese and insufficient toppings unless you opted for fruit and granola. I don't know how this qualifies as a 3 star hotel. Rooms very basic. No kettle, fridge or safe.Also could do with a soft light on the desk. Room small. Staff were friendly and parking a bonus but was 20 euros a night. Breakfast adequate. Not in the best part of Lille, lots of homeless people . Very central for Xmas market and Eurolille.

Decent enough room, no qualms with the service. But the area around the train station doesn't feel safe, and you can find homeless camping a few meters away from the hotel which probably means the city doesnt bother to provide them any shelter

The location was very convenient however our room smelled strongly of smoke when we came in. Even after airing out the room, the smell lingered on the duvets and pillows.

Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly. View from the 7th floor was really nice of Lille. The room itself needs a refurb though. There were some really sticky black carpet stains to the left side of the bed which I kept accidentally stepping on which was really unpleasant. Ventilation in the room felt poor and it was stuffy.

The hotel lobby appears to have been renovated, but appearances are deceiving. The room are dark, small, old and tired looking. What they claim to be a gym is a room with a treadmill and bike, no weights or equipment of any kind. The hall ways are dark and there is a strange moldy smell on premises. I do like the Crown Plaza. Very clean room, staff is very nice and kind, welcoming you the best way. The restaurant was so quite that I fall asleep on my plate. I was jet lagged and needed to sleep. I had the best night and woke up fully rested. The best hotel in this case. I do recommend 100%

Service is very good. Rooms are clean and the size is ok, but the bathroom is tiny. For breakfast there are several options, even boiled eggs (there is no scrambled eggs, nor sausages), the proposed food is fresh and tasty.

Had a great stay. It’s within walking distance of many of Lille’s attractions. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a safe in the room and received complimentary drinks which I appreciated. I’d stay here again without a doubt!

Good for a short stay. Has a decent gym which is very important for fitness-focused travelers. Room can be cleaner. And toilet is separate from the bathroom which is a bit strange.

This is a former Mercure transformed into a new brand. The location is excellent. At the time we visited (December), renovation were still ongoing. Rooms are nice but bathrooms are not up to 4* standards. Breakfast is decent. The staff were very friendly, kind and attentive. The room (jr suite) was spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Even the pullout couch was relatively comfortable. The hotel was undergoing some renovations but we were only there one night. The location is in the center of the town, near restaurants and shops.

Tho hotel is good in a very good location. The room is clean, The breakfast was disappointingly limited with withered fruit, broken coffee machine and staff providing delayed service.

Unfortunately, despite checkout being between 6 and 12 a.m., the chambermaid asked us to leave the room twice, knocking loudly at 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The service at the reception was friendly, as was the breakfast service.

Enjoyed a few days here recently, the hotel is in a great central location but best of all was the staffing of the hotel. Friendly guy dealt with us on arrival. Very handy that they have a car park,looks a bit imposing for some at first, I have a bigger car but managed just fine. Room is clean and modern with a great shower.

The hotel breakfast is average, it's purely for accommodation without any supporting facilities. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, but the surrounding environment is quite complicated. There are many homeless people and unconscious people, but they will not enter the hotel.

Very good hotel and staff. Near everything (metro, train, shooping, city center). Staff very responsive and willing to help you all the time, great amenities in the room. The only con is the acoustic isolation that allow some noises from neighbour rooms and from the hallway.

We booked a one night stay at this hotel in August. The room was clean and quite spacious. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel which was very convenient (we paid 15 EUR for 30 hours of parking). The location is amazing, you walk right into the old city center of Lille. The one star doesn't meet the expectations and is way overrated. The price we paid was for a 2/3 star restaurant not a one star Michelin. Nevertheless the staff is very helpful and the hotel accommodation is great as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The overall presentation of the hotel is excellent. No doubt, Clarance Hotel is the best address in Lille.

It’s superbly located and is very clean and modern. Excellent shower and bedding. Lovely warm friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent with eggs, smoked salmon croissant granola and plenty of yoghurts and cheeses. Very pleased with our stay. The only issue is it may be slightly loud on the weekend as you are in a busy district but we kept the windows shut and AC on so it really was no trouble

Friendly staff, nice location. Sound insulation extremely poor, you’re literally sleeping on busy streets even wearing earplugs. Sleeping for 6+ hours is impossible. And I don’t know why Trip.com charges 27GBP per person breakfast, definitely don’t worth it.

The breakfast was rich, the food in the freezer was free (5 bottles of drinks), and a piece of chocolate was given. The toiletries were from L'Occitane, the room was very clean, and the view outside the window was also very good. I was very satisfied and I would choose this hotel again next time I go on a business trip.

It met my expectations. It was clean and tidy. The room was small but it was manageable. The choose of lighting was a little bad but nothing too serious. The only bad thing was curtain on the window. It was a type- of a scroll curtain and it did not let me choose length.
