Hôtel Mercure Nantes Centre Gare in Nantes

Only a single night stay but with late checkout so it felt like a longer stay. The hotel common areas are really nice and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The room itself was a family room with double and converted sofa bed, the latter being more comfortable than expected. Headroom was limited but views from the window were outstanding.
Parking was reasonable and easy once we found the garage entrance and made the whole visit much more convenient. Also it’s quite easy to drive to yet very close to the centre of town so best of both worlds.
Late checkout till 5pm was a great option and really made the short break work better for us.
We didn’t have any problems other than not having a full set of towels for the three guests, but I’m sure the staff would have sorted that problem for us; we managed ok without.
The AC in the room was only just up to the task and quite noisy with it, but it was a pretty hot period while we were there.
I would add that late at night I would probably feel a little bit on my guard walking back from the city centre to hotel.
Overall we were very happy with our choice to stay here and although I wouldn’t rate everything 5/5, overall I think it is greater than the sum of its parts and deserving of 5 stars overall.

A very nice well designed hotel; Helpful and friendly staff. Good bathrooms and efficient quiet air-conditioning.
Breakfast are quality international style and the restaurant quality and dishes was also very good.

What a wonderful hotel. Really well located for arriving both by car and the airport. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and the beds really comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

it was a good stay overall, the staff very friendly and prepared to help anytime, some of them even speak Spanish.
Rooms very clean and tidy (though i don't like cristal and transparent Bathrooms) but i was alone thanks god.

Good breakfast: breads, jams, fruits, crepes, juices (i doubt not fresh), cheese, Gluten free options, i liked their scrumbled eggs and vegetables, you can get fried eggs or hard boiled.

The only problemnwe had during our stay was the taxi, we asked the reception for a taxi that accepts Amex Card for payment and the girl in reception mede it clear to the taxi that we will pay with Amex, but at the end when we arrived to our destination and were about the pay, the taxi driver told us No no i don't accept Amex, we had to pay with our own cards, so yo need to insist and be careful before getting into the taxi if you want to pay with Amex.

Me and my wife had a very positive experience at the Hotel. Definitely, they have high standard in terms hygiene, customer service as well as food options. Very well located, close to bus stops and train station.

At the reception, Sofie did really really well acting very sympathetically to all of our requests, always putting a smiling face.

We stayed here for 3 nights, this is part of our business travel and the staying was good!
Reception desk was very helpful and we had great breakfast services there! It is good experience to stay at Nantes, the location was just cross the door to the train station. perfect location.
Meanwhile the living room is equipped with a lot of shared space for co-working, perfect!

A very practical and convenient hotel to stay in Nantes. Just a few steps from the train station and about 15min walking from the city centre.

The rooms are perfect size, the breakfast really good and all the team that works for the hotel amazing - kind, respectful, funny, very attentive.

A good option when travelling to Nantes :)
