3 star hotels in Orleans

We have been staying at this hotel for ten years and it was always been great,we were a little worried that with a change of ownership it may have changed but we didn't need to. A great stay with a friendly staff and a great breakfast. We will be back

I booked this hotel in Orleans to stay overnight during my trip from Spain to Germany. The location is great, you can enjoy a nice walk to the city center in a matter of minutes, and a small hotel private parking can be used (8€). The room was clean, the staff was very kind and a very good English spoken. If I had to visit Orleans again I would for sure stay at this wonderful hotel.

Essential, close to the centre. Rooms and toilet very small but for 1 person is fine

Friendly service and good facilities

The hotel is in a good location and convenient for travel. The reservation was also smooth. There were changes in the itinerary before the trip, and one room was cancelled. There was no extra charge and it was resolved quickly. Good, recommended.

Pleasant staff. Room a little disappointing especially the small bathroom with rusty parts. For the price it's a bit of a shame.

The room was very nice, bed was comfortable. One soft pillow and one pillow as hard a rock so you could choose which one you liked better. The reception people were very kind. Good location for where we were travelling for our motorbike tour, Google maps doesn't take you to the entrance but round the back so check street view. Rooms were very small, but clean and comfortable and well equipped. Large bed takes up most of the room space. Breakfast was good with good food choices. Value for money if you're just on a short stay.

A nice hotel that is undergoing some updating and improving with the addition of Air conditioning units in the rooms. We had a unit in the room but unfortunately it wasn't working. The hotel is situated near quite a busy road so if the window is opened it gets to be quite noisy. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. This was a place that was away from the main area of Orleans and a car absolutely necessary. Free car parking available which is always a bonus in Europe. The room was a triple room but extremely cramped and not ideal when you are travelling with a lot of luggage. Not a lot of interaction with staff other than check in and check out but seemed personable enough. Thought the price was a little bit expensive...

Room was clean. Had no safe or fridge. Excellent location! Close to main town square and lots of restaurants. Near tourisme bureau. When street in front has construction ended, it will be very good. Breakfast was OK.

The Hotel Orleans was very well located if you intend to visit the old quarter and down to the river. While the rooms are quite 'cosy' they are well appointed and clean. The staff were all happy and smiling and eager to help with information about Orleans for your stay. Car parking is located under the square just a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. Generally OK although the bedroom was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in!

Everything was great, except A/C. Even at 16C, it barely made the room cool.

Alex on reception was amazing, he was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and we had booked parking which was across the narrow road the hotel was located on and was secure.

Room was lovely, the staff were super.

The hotel is excellent location, good bedding. Missing a hair dryer, that would be appreciable to dry hairs when weather is cold in Europe

No designated guests parking for this hotel. We have to drag along our luggage from an underground public parking to the hotel. Also, parking fee is not included for staying in this hotel. Breakfast is wonderful.

This is a hotel with notions. It describes itself as a boutique hotel, but in practice that seems to mean a weird colour scheme (dark blue and green are not a good colour combination) and clocks that are strictly for decoration. There is no bar or restaurant or the sort of facilities you'd expect in a good hotel and the carry on with needing a code to open the front door after ten was more like a...

Staff very kind. The fact that there was no AC made our stay not ideal. At least a fan could help. A little bit expensive for not having ac. The bathroom floor was broken almost cutted myself.

Nice location but not much close by. The center of town is about a 20 min walk along the river. The rooms are clean but spartan with very small pillows and lack basic amenities. The breakfast is just good.

We arrived late. There is no restaurant in the hotel, thus we dined in the restaurant of a neighbouring hotel. Returning to our hotel we would have liked to have a drink at the bar, but it had been already closed at 9 pm.

The hotel is an easy drive from the motorway with parking at the rear. The rooms are spacious and clean with a huge bed! Our room overlooked the Loire river. The location, overlooking the Loire, is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor view of the river. The breakfast was satisfactory in terms of quality and variety. The welcome and service were very friendly.

Perfect place for pit stop. Very clean, friendly staff and easy parking. And a super comfortable bed! It will be our first choice for trips down to SW France from now on.

Was very a nice hotel would book again just not very central for the sites

We stayed overnight at Ibis Orléans gare in July 2017. The hotel is just opposite the train station, and a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The hotel was recently renovated and the room is nicely decorated, if small. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is larger than usual in an Ibis, only one towel per person. This property is directly across the road from the central Orleans train station and a 10 minute walk from the old city centre. In short, its location for a tourist is excellent. The hotel is good 3 to 4 star standard - clean, comfortable, good bed and bathroom, and reasonably priced. I stayed here for 2 nights as it was a convenient place to explore the city and also squeeze in a Paris day trip without the huge prices for many Paris hotels. I've stayed at a few Aparthotels run by this chain & know what to expect - in terms of apartment condition this was fine and walkable to the city centre. What made my stay difficult was the car parking. I emailed the property twice before arriving (on a Saturday) saying that I needed to park my car but nothing was done. I even phoned the number provided but they never replied. I ended up street parking...

Great price, great location. Had a Carrefour nearby and is right in front of a bus stop. The only downside is that you can hear the street noises so if you prefer silence, I wouldn’t recommend.

Attention, the website mistakenly states that the reception is open on weekends. This is not true. You need to either call / write to the hotel in advance, and they will send you the access code and password for the key box, or use the emergency number. I came here to watch the Tour de France. The receptionist speaks English. It's convenient because most tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room was clean and had a small kitchen. There was also tableware and a kettle. There was no air conditioning, but there was a refrigerator and a fan, so it was not uncomfortable to sleep even in the summer. The rooms are very poorly insulated. You can hear everything from the traffic. The only positive aspect is the comfortable bedding.

A little disappointed with our stay. To begin with, we couldn’t get into our room! As we were checking in outside of reception hours we were emailed access codes only to find that upon arrival the access codes had expired and we could not access our room. Luckily however when someone exited the building we were able to wait in the reception area while we worked out what to do to avoid the pouring rain...

Wonderful experience at this hotel in a great location minutes walk from the historic area of the town. Big shout out to the lovely member of staff who met us at reception from our snowy arrival and took great care to give us all the information we needed about parking, the room, where to eat and much more.

Great location, a couple minutes to the touristy area. Hotel has a "Moxy" vibe - and was very inviting and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if I find myself in Orleans again.

Good hotel, but not during a heatwave! The hotel was fine, service from staff was excellent, but our room was in the roof section of the third floor, and with the heatwave it was impossibly hot all night. Even with the skylights open and the two fans on. The room really needs air-conditioning.

When as a family for a 1 night stay over ,lots of stairs as no lift, family room had a beam across the floor major trip hazard as we found out ,poor lighting in the room ,breakfast not worth 10.90 ,close to city center.

Great find For the competitive price, the room and overall hotel exceeds all the attributes expected. The one low point is when getting in after the checkin desk, ventilation should be improved to prevent smell of food, which is a minor point. It is strategically located within 8 minutes from the train station and mall.

If you want centre then this is it. Unfortunately very difficult to get to with car and only to load and unload. Parking by agreement with hotel in carpark 400 yrds away. Rooms ok but sad and worn. Walls thin could hear next door TV and on phone very clearly. Breakfast good, usual choice.

We were very well received by a young woman who was very friendly, but the room was a bit dated and the cleanliness was not very good. There was a smell of vacuum cleaner dust in our room...and in this heat we opened our window but it was impossible to sleep with the surrounding noise of the tram and people shouting until very late in the evening. The breakfast was passable. I would not recommend this...

Hotel close to the train station and right in the city center. I recommend it.

I loved out stay here and we will be back. It was a little challenging to figure out how to arrive by car, but only because we didn't ask for help from the hotel first. "Gorge" was very friendly and understanding of our lack of French language skills. He explained parking to us and came up to get the tv going for us. But we mainly were out of the room with all of the wonderful shopping and restaurants...

Simple, clean, next to the city center train station, close to the supermarket, very convenient

Functional and good for bedding down for the night. I used as a bed for passing through on a long drive and it was good for that.

The noise is relatively significant. Moreover, in these heatwave weather, it would have been very pleasant to have air conditioning. However, we had a fan to “ventilate” us. Otherwise the staff is very cheerful, welcoming and ready to be helpful. Bravo for this service

Overall, the services are adequate with the exception of the price for breakfast, the reception staff are attentive to any request from us. I recommend it for a stay of 3 to 4 days. The location of the hotel is set back from the center and very quiet on weekends. I will return there soon, I am very satisfied.

Stopped here for one night on route to Spain from the UK. Cosy comfy room and lovely meal at the restaraunt within the hotel, served by pleasent welcoming staff. Good varied menu, something for everyone and at reasonable prices, all washed down with local wine! Good dog walking area to the rear of the hotel in a wood. All in all, very enjoyable.
