The Jackotel is very conveniently situated on the edge of the old town which has a full range of excellent restaurants and a great buzz. The hotel is wonderfully quirky, changing little from the ‘70s I’d imagine but the rooms and bathrooms have been upgraded and it’s spotlessly clean. Parking in the courtyard is a massive plus

The hotel is perfectly placed to explore Orléans, there is a place to park your car and it is located in a nice part of town near a church and boule court. The hotel was VERY basic and rather dated but did the trick for a 1 night stop over. We had a room for the 3 of us. The bed was reasonably comfortable. It was clean but needs a serious refresh of its decor. A shower curtain would have been a great help. For the price it did its job. It had free WiFi which worked well also. We did not sample the food as the centre of town with some lovely places to eat was only a few mins walk.

Really like this place. Welcoming. Basic but v clean which made all the difference. Great location. Has a no nonsense charm about the place and the staff are just lovely. Breakfast was great - lovely fresh croissants and bread, cereals, jams, yoghurt.

Nice Hotel with clean rooms. The breakfast was sufficent and has a large variety. The oldtown is within walking distance; aprox. 10 min. I'm sorry to say but there were three issues wich were not so pleasant. I can understand that due to covid, the situation is not easy. The clerk at the front desk seemed over 80 years old. He could hardly hear nor read, which made the communication hard and impossible if you didn't speak French. He was still there the next morning. I felt sorry for him . They offer parking places at the hotel but when they are occupied, you have to make a small odyssey through the ancient town and no GPS will find the entrance. The old man went with me in my car to show me. So nobody was at the front desk. The worst case was in the bathroom. In the bathtap you have to pull the button on the faucet permanently to get water out ouf the shower. Plus the hot water is to hot, so you burn yourself, or to cold. In our case we wouldn't come back here although the price was alright.

A really good place to stay in Orleans for tourism. Price is really good, but location is old-fashioned. But what I really like is: Beds and room are very clean, you get free parking and it is only 300m from Cathedral and old town. The river Loire is maybe 3 minutes to walk. The stuff is ok. Breakfast nothing special, but for 7€ it is ok. The Hotel is quiete, but of course busy due to price🙂. It would choose it again.

This hotel is disgusting! It is old, dirty, the rooms are broken and falling apart and they have no ventilation in the rooms except for a window, which when left open allows people to climb through the window during the night as it is on the ground floor and as big as a door and also allows all noise in. I paid by credit card and then requested a refund which they provided but only by sending a cheque to me in Spain which would incur fees of 15€ minimum for an international cheque therefor meaning that I am not receiving a full refund. This hotel and the way they operate as a business is disgusting! Stay away!

This hotel has a great location in the historical centre of Orléans, just a minute away from the Bords de Loire and not very far from the Cathedral.
While the room was simple and had an older decor, it was spacious enough, comfortable, and spotless.
Ample storage space was provided in the form of a wardrobe with a sliding door that doubled as a mirror at the entrance of the room, just after the door to the personal bathroom composed of a bathtub with a showerhead, toilets, a bidet, and a sink.
The bed was great, and there was no noise.
Staff was welcoming and friendly. There's even a cat.
The only issue I could find was the WiFi, which was free but a bit slow. Fortunately, there was good 5G/4G coverage.
To sum up, this hotel is a great affordable choice, perfect to discover Orléans.

Super accommodating owners... the proprietor directed me to his underground parking when the normal lot was full. Rooms were quiet and perfectly comfortable if a bit dated.

Nobody is going to pretend this is the Ritz. The decor is from the seventies and it has baths not showers. But it's great. It's clean and comfortable and in a great location. It has parking. I would go back. In fact I did go back
